My first ever foldable bike. I'm an intermediate cyclist. (20-30 mile rides on my Road bike). I enjoy riding but hate putting my road bike on the car hitch and praying the bike doesn't fall out and cause an accident. This solves that problem. Just fold it and throw in the trunk. It's not as fast as my road bike but I'm not racing anyone. It's fast enough for my needs. You can't put a price on convenience. Smooth ride. Gears shifting is great. I just customized it using my own seat. I'll likely get a second one for family member to ride with me.

My son had outgrown his 20" BMX style bike, but I had a hard time deciding what size/type bike to get him- I worried he would just outgrow another kids bike, but he wasn't ready for an adult size bike. This bike was the solution to our problem. It is incredibly adjustable- anyone from kids to adults can ride it (unless they are VERY tall). It is also great for a beginner to learn shifting with a nice and simple 1x7 speed set up (with Shimano Revo shifter and Tourney derailleur).It is pretty easy to fold up once you get the hang of it, but it is kind of awkward to carry when folded- there isn't a clear place to grab it where it's balanced. To me, 27 pounds is still a little heavy, but for all the advantages this type of bike gives you, it's an acceptable trade off. I just think it's awesome that anyone in my family can ride this bike with some quick, simple adjustments- no tools required (for the Via at least).Upon arrival, the front brake cable was pulled way too tight, so I had to adjust that, and I lubed the chain since it felt dry, and of course inflated the tires, but that was it- it's a pretty simple set up. So nice bike overall, and I think a really good value.EDIT: I picked up a second Via, although it was mishandled by UPS during transit and the derailleur was completely bent into the spokes, so I had to exchange it- just make sure that's the first thing you check when you unbox your bike, as it's the most fragile part. The 2nd bike had the same front brake problem as my first- cable pulled way too tight, causing rubbing and no ability to pull the brake lever...it's not hard to fix, but whoever is assembling these bikes keeps repeating the mistake for some reason.

Cons:o The wheelbase of any folding bike is short, making steering a bit unstable.o Cables and such make it difficult to get the bike fully folded.o Just 7 speeds barely cover your all-around riding. No really high gears.Pros:o Light and easily lifted.o Easily unfolded.o Fits in the back of my car on just one side of the trunk of my VW Golf with a back seat lowered.o Seat and handlebars accommodate my 6'1" height.o Fat tires handle bumps in the road.o Fun to ride!Conclusion:Fully met my expectations.

Not a bike expert, barely a novice, but i've been wanting a folding bike. i didn't want anything fancy, just something well made that won't fall apart on me from daily use. i made up my mind when i saw one of the 5 star reviews on here was from an engineer who praised how well designed this bike is. I've had it for 2 months now so i feel confident enough to make a reviewPros --2 for 1 special - easier commute AND i'm getting a workout out of it.-i like the magnets on the sides of the wheel that help it fold up. works even better with the foldable metal basket i got.-the thick wheels are good for buffering bumpy roads-the fenders are cool, they really protect you from splashes-pretty much comes ready to ride out the box, i just needed to pump the tires with a little more air and stick on the foot pedal.-easy to store, not only at home but at my job. too-i really appreciate the 7 gears, i use them allCons -- the front brake pads it came with squeaked horribly when i used them, especially when it was humid/rainy. i cleaned and wiped down my wheel and it would squeak even louder. sounded like i was torturing a goose. i took it to my local bike shop and installed new brake pads, the problem was fixed.- this might be my fault, but it was missing a nut to secure the bike seat post. i might have lost it, don't know if it even came at all, but i won't dock points for that. my local bike shop gave me one for free. still wanted to put it out there.i use this bike purely for commuting, sometimes i'll use it to run errands. in the past, traveling to williamsburg from bensonhurst for work was really annoying and time consuming (i have to boomarang into manhattan just to come back down to brooklyn, and the mta sucks overall) i figured if i got a bike, i could ride it to the G train and take it straight to williamsburg. my commute went from 1hr 30min (1:45-2+hrs on the weekend) to just 1hr flat no matter what day i work, sometimes even less than an hour if i'm having a good day.after seeing/feeling the benefits of riding a bike almost every day, it's been a really good 2 months. i don't live far from university so i plan to use my bike to commute there as well. if you live in the city and are thinking of owning a folding bike, this is a really good one to consider. i'm really happy with my choice, and i plan to take care of this bike so i could use it for a very long time.

LaurenI bought this for my dad and he loves it. Was easy to put together (very few things to assemble).DadThe only issue that I had was the frame folding mechanism was slightly damaged and the piece broke off when I was trying to fold it back up. I called Euromini's support line and I could not be happier with their support. They are aware of the issue that happens in packing and are looking to change the design. I just got an email stating the part has been shipped. I don't know what took them so long. I called them at 1PM (they are on PDT) and they didn't ship the package until about 2PM (only joking - they are speedy).Some reviews said it takes a little getting used to due to the smaller wheels (gyroscopic motion). I am an old guy at 68 & 5' 10" and had no issues what so ever in getting on and peddling right away. Gearing is smooth and did not need any adjustment right out of the box. The bike was packaged well and it took more time to remove the packing materials than it did to put the bike together.I'd buy this bike again. As a matter of fact, I might buy the Campo model for at home since I can store it in the garage without folding it. The Via model is for Florida and need to fold it to fit into the condo when not in use.

This cycle came quickly,& nicely packaged.As instructed in the manual,I took it to a reputable bikeshop to get the initial check before use.They were impressed.My Family & Friends loved it! While I am unable to ride it yet due to limited range of motion in one leg(injury/surgery),loved ones cruised it for me,& I am so thrilled to see my loved ones reignited with youthful joy that comes with biking! We video taped their 1st rides.I have an ebike scooter also,so sailed along side of them.Fam.& Friends agreed it rides as good & as smooth as it looks,said it's slick! All are amazed at how compact it folds,& how light weight it is! Thank you for this design,& price.My Family was given this link at their request! They are now wanting to aquire their own cycles for future Family fun.

This beauty is a great ride for my first and last 2-3 miles everyday to work. In between I hop on an electric city bus (no external bike rack), for under 45 min and enjoyable commute. Saves me from 3 legs by bus and subway, for 1.5 to over 2 hour commute. Almost Dec. in Boston and still going strong.

I ordered two of these bicycles, one for me and one for my wife. We each have other bicycles, but didn't like the hassle of mounting our bike rack to our car, loading the bikes and then dealing with the hassle of dismounting and storing the bike rack. We often like to travel a long distance to a particular area to bike a specific route or path through a park or trail. These EuroMini Via's are a quality bicycle for that purpose. They have great components and the build quality looks excellent. They are very light and easy to fold and unfold. Most importantly, they ride really well and perform like a full size bike. The frames are much stiffer than I anticipated they would be and they lock up securely for use. The Shimano grip shifters are smooth and the brakes are great for center pull brakes. All in all, for a fun bike that will fit easily in your trunk or hatch, you can't go wrong.

I got this to replace a Dahon folding bike that was stolen after 15 years. I had been thinking about a different kind of bike, since the Dahon was a full size (26" wheels) that I often found difficult to store in regular cars and also an airplane.First, realize that even with this slightly smaller wheel size you are going to feel the difference in stability. Having large flywheels down there makes a difference. The lower stability is something you will have to make up for with better control. Perhaps the only other negative would be the "girly factor". This is not a macho looking bike. However, the resulting smaller frame and wheel size really makes a difference. It fits comfortably in back of my Chevy Bolt, and I could probably get two of them in there. I hand carried it to my small cubicle at work just to see if I could. I suspect it will live in my car after thieves took my Dahon easily from our company bike rack.It would be easier to list what was not an improvement over my Dahon than what was, which comes down to the Dahon being full size. Everything is better. The weight, the gear changes are snappy and crisp without that "its between gears" feeling and the need to woggle the gear handle to stop chain noise. The gear step shows in a window on the gear change handle. The clamps, as described, all have locks on them but one, and indeed, that is the only one that came loose on me, the one that sets the handle bar height. That, fortunately, does not need to be operated to fold the bike. I plan to tie wrap it shut.Folding and unfolding the bike is very quick and easy. I noticed that it took some effort to open the bike, then I realized they had placed a magnetic catch to keep it in the folded position. That is a little thing that just shows how well thought out the design is.What more can I say. Great design, great value for the purchase price.
