I bought this for an upcoming cruise to try and avoid buying bottled water. I wanted something that was lightweight for packing in my luggage and for excursions. This empty bottle weights 5.0 ounces, is 9 inches tall, 2.57 inches in diameter, and can hold up to 18 ounces of water. The main bottle wall plastic is stiffer than I had imagined and cannot be crushed with your hands. The flip-open top is spring loaded and will pop open when you press the release button on the side. There is an optional safety latch you can engage that will keep the top closed even if you accidentally press the button. When the top is closed, it seals both the drink spout as well as the small air hole used to allow easy flow of water from from the spout. There is no leakage at all from this bottle with the top closed, even with vigorous shaking upside down. All the components seem to be of good quality, not something that will break with normal care. I don't smell any "plastic" odor inside this bottle. The wide mouth allows easy cleaning of the bottle with the top unscrewed. There is a short, permanently attached strap. I found it useful for securing the bottle in my backpack mesh bottle pocket. You can flip it over the bottle to get it out of the way if you don't need to use it.Overall I'm very impressed with this water bottle from Brimma. It's more heavy duty than I was expecting, yet very lightweight.Update 6/14/2018: I've been using this bottle for the past couple months and love it. It still looks new and has never leaked. As an aside, it is the perfect size to use a packet of Crystal Light (needs 17 oz water) if you like flavored no-cal water.

This water bottle is perfect and I’m so glad I chose it. I can’t speak to the ruggedness of it, but I can tell you that it doesn’t leak and it doesn’t sweat, which are the biggest selling factors for me. You wouldn’t believe how many water bottles I’ve ordered and thrown away because of various reasons over the past 6 months. I use it to take water to work, and sometimes on the walk in from the parking lot, I’ll throw the water bottle in my purse so it’s very important that it doesn’t leak or sweat. This water bottle is sturdy, keeps my water relatively cold, and has a carrying strap also. At night, I fill the bottle with water and have to lay it sideways in the fridge because it’s so tall, and it does not leak. I have nothing but rave reviews for this water bottle after so many failures with others!

This is a second bottle we bought my husband lost it somewhere in his office and he was upset. This bottle reminds him of his wife love whenever he is at work specially when he uses it. The bottle is absolutely easy to hold and carry, wash and refill with water be it distilled or flavoured liquid and it does not retain any smell. It is suitable for any age and i am going to get a third one for my son. The quality is very astonishing over the price we paid. Probably the best bottle we ever had..

Great 500ml water bottle to take on the go. It is really leak proof; it never leaks in my bags, even when laying horizontally. Keep in mind that you need to screw the lid and close the lid firmly to avoid spills.The bottle is ergonomic and very light, but for my little woman hand it can be tiring to carry it in my hand during a long run/walk. I mostly take this on the go, as I rarely drink during a run/workout as it upsets my stomach.The material is good quality and I it does not show signs of wear and tear after months of usage. Drop it several times, no scratches.The cap is a little harder to open, but in the end it makes it leak proof.I washed it in the dishwasher with no issue. The lanyard actually also dries pretty fast (but it will take longer than the bottle). I wrap the lanyard around the bottle in the dishwasher, to not touch heating elements. I like the lanyard as I sometimes wrap it on my wrist for additional free hand.Fits perfectly into the car cup holder.Update after almost an year of daily use: The bottle lasted very well in time, it seems incredible durable; there is a plastic matte foil (with the writing, including the ml/oz scale) covering the bottle that started peeling, but otherwise everything looks like new.

I am a mom of two boys and I need water bottles that do not leak, are easy to clean, easy to use and fit in their backpack. So far, this bottle has not leaked and is replacing another "leak proof" bottle that leaked in my son's backpack. There is nothing worse then finding library books and homework pages soaked with water from a "leak proof" bottle. This bottle is exactly what I needed. The only thing I do not like is the strap because I cannot see how to remove it and when you wash it the strap gets wet and needs to dry before they carry the bottle to school.

This is a great bottle. I waited out two months to review this to see if the plastic will mold or stain after weeks of usage. I have used this for carot juice, tea, coffee, orange juice, and other drinks on a daily basis. I don't thoroughly wash it everyday, just regular rinse of dish detergent. I have not seen any molding or color changing so this is very good plastic. What I like best is this bottle is very light weight and I have poured hot water in (boiling is 212'F, I have used 208'F) and the bottle did not change shape, nor the water tasted like plastic. I was grinding the water sprout sometimes with my teeth and left some marks. Enclosed are pics of the lids so you can see closely. The colors from the drink comes off completely if you wash it better with a brush. No mold! High quality plastic used!

I've been using this water bottle for about a week, and don't know how I've lived without it for so long. It is the perfect size to fit in the side of my backpack, in my purse, or even just carrying. And it comes with a great strap for carrying on your wrist. The strap does NOT come off. I thought it would bother me, but I don't mind it at all actually. It's great when moving around the gym and making sure it stays with me. The spout that you drink of is a lot smaller than I thought it would be looking at the pictures, but I love it! It's the perfect size for quick drinks and pacing yourself. It's is completely leak proof. The lid has a little locking feature, but even without using that I'm confident it will stay secure. This is a great water bottle for everyday use!
