So at first I didn't think I was going to like this mat, I rolled it out and as i was doing Down Dog I was slipping so I contacted the Seller (they returned answer fast!) and they informed me to mist it with water as it is natural material. I took their advice of course... AND I have no problem. I DO recommend this product!

I’m 65 years old and one year out from my total knee replacement. I understand the importance of yoga for balance and strength and decided I needed to get serious with my rehab. I know how important it is to have the proper tools when beginning a project so to speak. I found the Repose yoga mat and was impressed right away. It was unlike any I have seen. The material is cork which instantly sets it apart from others. It is very comfortable, easy to carry and store. I couldn't wait to get it! I am the envy of my class, its so good looking and very functional. My customer service was excellent and The shipment was prompt! I highly recommend the Repose yoga mat whether you are seasoned or a beginner! The Repose would also be a great gift to receive!

Okay, let me start by saying that I hate exercise. I do it as infrequently as possible. That being said, it is January of a new year and the resolutions are currently in full swing, so I got this mat - along with a few other tools - to keep me on track. I chose this one because I LOVED the fact that it's a sustainable, organic material - I've always been a sucker for cork, it's so breathable and porous that I figured it would be great in this application and, so far, I think it's perfect. Right out of the box, I was impressed that it didn't have that sickening plastic smell that my old yoga mat of ten years STILL reeks of. I laid them out side-by-side to compare and this one is a good 4" longer, which is awesome - nothing worse than laying your head on the edge, am I right?? During my workout, I went back and forth between the two mats and far prefer this one... outside of being longer, I didn't stick to it, and when the sweat started, it seemed to soak it right up and stay dry while my other one was a little damp. That sounds a bit gross but being that cork is anti-bacterial, nothing to worry about! It says to just wipe it down with a damp cloth when cleaning, which I haven't done yet. Overall, I'm very happy with this mat - it appears to be well-made, the size is great, and I looked at a lot of these prior to purchasing and some of them are much more expensive... I decided to go with this more moderately priced mat since the reviews were great and cork is cork. I'm really happy I chose this one, I can't imagine what the more expensive ones have that it doesn't. Definitely recommended!

The REPOSE cork yoga mat is seriously incredible! I have gone through many different mats and been on the hunt for one that is organic, doesn't smell, doesn't sleep when it gets wet or sweat drops -- and this is the one to get! I would highly recommend it.

This mat is absolutely amazing! Not only do I love that it's eco-friendly, but the no-slip and grasp of the cork is fantastic. I teach hot classes and take hot classes, and I don't feel like I need a towel to help me from slipping during practice. Also, the mat is easy to roll up and cleans beautifully with mat spray. I don't feel like there is a smell left on the mat, which can happen when practicing in hot spaces.They also include the black carrier, which fits perfectly around the mat (and easily adjustable), so you don't have to worry about buying a mat straps in addition to your purchase here. What an awesome addition!I would feel very comfortable having this one and only mat to practice on at home or on the go.

Best yoga mat ever! Look no further! I’ve had years of wrist pain which is why yoga has always been so difficult for me, this Yoga Mat has changed everything for me. My wrists no longer hurt when I’m holding specific moves for longer periods of time. It’s also reassuring that bacteria does not grow on this mat. I would highly recommend this yoga mat to anyone! 5stars with me!

This mat is amazing, very durable feeling but soft. Its quality is unlike any mat i've seen in stores! I just love laying on it I could almost take a nap. Its very unique and you cant ignore that its organic and recyclable! I would never throw it away but when I'm gone I can rest knowing it won't be taking up space in a landfill.I almost forgot to mention how great it is carrying strap is, very functional and doesn't dig in my shoulder.if you're thinking about a certain yogi in your life, definitely get this! they will use it all the time!

I don’t typically write reviews unless I’m extremely impressed or disappointed with something. This is an excellent quality yoga mat... The length is perfect for me and it provides a great amount of traction, support, and comfort. We just installed new hardwood flooring and my old mat just slipped around. The Repose mat stays where I put it, giving me a lot stability in my poses. The fact that it’s organic is a huge bonus for me as well!!!
