Truly worked. Look at the image of the water. We were in Jamaica and climbing up Dunns River Falls. It is a 700 foot climb and you are completely in the water. You also get to do a slide down one part of it and the back pack was completely in the water. Check the images and you will see the back pack is wet and dripping with water. I was carrying my Canon mark 7dii camera and two other expensive lenses that day. When I opened the back pack at the top of the climb, the inside was completely dry. This back pack is worth every penny. I trusted it with thousanads of dollars in camera equipment. You can trust it too.

My husband's been using his FE Active Waterproof Dry Bag Backpack for the past few months now. It's part of his EDC, Every Day Carry, at his office job and it has helped keep his laptop dry during the torrential downpours of this SoCal winter. Yes, torrential downpours in SoCal, No I'm not making that up...El Niño malcriado was acting up. Anyhow, I pack him a delicious lunch every day and this bag helps keep it dry and safe because who wants a soggy PB&J when you're hungry after sending 100 emails? His water bottle, and smoothie bottle, fit great on each side...and there is enough room for some cold weather gear (sweatshirt, rain coat, beanie, etc) along with his warrior bars, and books he pretends to read. Even though he doesn't get in the ocean much these days, since he is so helpful with our twin boys, he definitely feels like he is still a waterman with this backpack...plus the occasional jumping in a puddle, or running through sprinklers, helps him get that extra use for what this bag was made for...getting wet!

Great for the price

I'm a river guide in Hawaii which entails several miles of paddling and a two+ mile hike to a waterfall. The bag has been in the water, rubbed up against bushes, and tossed on lava rocks, it's held up extremely well. I'm very happy thus far, it's been a month now and shows no signs of wear and tear. It's very comfortable and holds a lot of stuff!

I bought this bag a little while ago, but was waiting to fully try it out before writing a review. I use a motorcycle as my main means of transportation, and tend to carry my 17" laptop everywhere. Rather than spend money on a water "resistant" bag that could get soaked in heavy rain, or waterproofing spray that you have to reapply every so often, I thought this would be the better buy. After having ridden in the rain with it, it has proven to hold up very well in heavy rain keeping my laptop completely dry. A very roomy bag, and pretty comfortable straps. Definitely one of my better purchases

Seems perfect for beach walks and rainy day walks. A little heavy, but quite comfortable.

Been using this pack as my surf rig for just over a week now, and it has permanently supplanted my previous Quicksilver pack (that was 5x more expensive, no less!). First off, the build quality is second to none. The high-frequency seam welding looks like it will stand up to years of heavy use, and the super-comfy straps are ready to handle the heaviest loads. But what really sets this pack apart are the clever details like the burly D-strap on top with a rubberized hand-grip that can be used for either for hanging or single-hand carrying (much easier on water-logged hands than the usual nylon). I also particularly love the versatility of the bungee webbing on back, which I use mostly for drying towels but occasionally lug the odd yoga mat as well. But the icing on the cake is the mesh side pockets that include draw strings so you can cinch them down to securely carry anything from a water bottle to a Trace GPS beacon.TRACE - Action Sports Tracker for GoPro® Cameras Buy this pack; it'll be the last one you ever need.
