I have had this now for a few months and it works great. It in no way fits my stock rear view mirror. My mirror is way longer then this device. Camera a little hard to set the front one anyways. But after a little bit got it dialed in. I have a sliding back window, so installing the rear camera was easy. The plastic tool that comes with this works. I bought better double sided tape for the rear camera. Went with Gorilla Double Sided Tape! I trust this tape.When I turn my Sub-Woofers on, it shakes the video. But not as bad as the rear view used to shake. And the video looks cool when you play it back. You have to use a video codec pack to watch videos from a windows computer.Just google video codec pack and you are good to go! Or use old school windows media player look for it in the start menu of windows 10.Both front and back cameras Audio is really good. Picks up car crashes really good.The front camera picks up all words inside my truck. So be super careful if your cheating on your mate! Joking of course!

I have been looking for a mirror-attached dashcam a few months ago. Because I needed a camera for rear parking and a record for unexpected events. VanTop dashcam can be purchased at a reasonable price while providing the camera and full screen I want.(Most other products offer picture quality that is difficult to see on-screen on dazzling days and difficult to recognize license plates at night or is expensive)The product is also very slim, so it's not awkward for my Chey Cruze. Installing it is very simple, and connecting the rear light trigger can be difficult for beginners, but simpler than other products because you only need to connect the plus wire without the minus wire. Just find and connect the rear light plus wire.But when I lower the sun visor of my Cruze, it touches the camera protrusions, so I need to make some adjustments. And while the rear parking guideline doesn't fit my car, it's not a big problem for me. Because I need a rearview camera to identify the hazards when I move or park my car. For developers, I hope that the next product will be updated with the ability to calibrate parking guidelines for the user's vehicle.I highly recommend this product to those around me. If you buy this too, you won't regret it.

The quality of this VanTop mirror dash cam is superb. It's a high-quality unit that is very easy to install and it functions and performs like a champ. In addition, this mirror dash cam has been well thought out and the quality of construction is Grade A and you can tell that a lot of thought and pride has been put into making them. From the product design to the packaging, this could have easily sold for more and I would have still purchased it.PROS:- Very well made. Construction is top-notch- Resolution of both front and rear cameras is excellent- Touch screen functions well/ Menu is very easy to navigate- Nighttime viewing of the rear camera is incredibly nice- Ability to record while parked or during hard impact is a very nice feature- Kit is very easy to install and it comes with great instructionsCONS:- I wish the front camera had the ability to swivel up a down a few degrees.- I wish the mirror was an inch wider as it doesn't cover my factory mirror completely- The parking guidelines for the reverse camera are not entirely accurate. It would be nice if you could adjust them through the onscreen optionsOther than that. You will not be disappointed with this product. To prove my complete satisfaction with the camera I have actually ordered another one for another car.

The mirror dash camera does everything a regular dashcam does plus so much more. Attached video record.Pros:1. Many options/setting too choose from. recording duration, video quality frames/sec2. 2.5k Recording of duration 1, 3, 5 mins baed on your settings.3. Photo option in between recording. Takes photo from both front and back.4. Decent night vision from both the cams.5. Timelapse with 1,2,3 frames/sec.4. G-sensor and Parking Monitor. I shook the car from rear just to test and it locked a video.Cons:Don't really have much to list. Only thing is both camera's support 2.5k recording but only one can record at 2.5k at a time. You can of-course switch between and choose front or back with a single click. Both at 2.5 would have been amazing,

Excellent Product! I replaced my two old dash cams with this and never looked back. This supports upto 128GB while my old ones only supports upto 32GB. I used the rear mirror camera view almost all the time. When turned off, the standard mirror has somewhat anti-glare coating which reduces bright lights. I uploaded a video on how easy to use the UI and some sample recordings for both front and rear camera.
