This was our second mattress after retuning a top of the line Simmons, due to a major design flaw. I was OVER it after doing loads of research, only to have the mattress fail. So, I went back to the drawing board. This mattress was less than half the price, and checked every box I had. So. Many. Boxes. Believe me. Even better, the baby SLEEPS! Woot! I ordered an “organic as they make them waterproof mattress cover”, because, babies, and all is well in wonderland. Stop looking, order this mattress, and trust me, the baby will sleep. Oh! Don’t order your mattress until you are a week or two out from transitioning your babe into their crib, I mean, your 272,883 nursery pics for instagram won’t be perfect - but you won’t be stuck with a mattress you can’t use if it’s not a good fit for your baby.

I’ve had this mattress for a year now so I can give you an accurate review. My 23 pound one year old always sleeps so great on this mattress. She has jumped, ran, fallen, etc on this mattress and sleeps an average of 15 hours a day. I am happy to say the mattress doesn’t have a sign of wear. It is very light weight and changing the sheet has been so easy!

The perfect crib matters. Light, soft exterior, organic cotton, low VOC's, great certifications, and fits perfectly in my pottery barn crib! I researched for a few months before my purchase and was not disappointed with this matteress and its price point. I added the Newton crib matress pad to increase breathability and waterproofing. I have the perfect set up.

Baby isn't here yet so I can't tell you how he likes it, but I LOVE it. I bought this mattress to replace a Simmons Beautyrest Sleepy Beginnings mattress. I originally wanted a coil mattress because I thought they were more firm and had a cooler temperature, but when the Simmons came in, it seemed to bunch up way too much and the sides were not firm. I am so scared of SIDS and wanted a nice firm mattress so I sent that one back and after doing more research and seeing the Colgate on so many top mattress sites, I decided to try it. It is amazing! Truly lightweight but so firm! After putting it in the crib, there is no part of the mattress that seems less firm than another. It fit amazingly in my davinci crib. The corners also fit great without leaving any spaces. The mattress seems cool and lightweight and after putting the sheet on, doesn't bunch up a bit. I love that it has organic materials. I feel better knowing my baby won't be breathing in harsh toxins. I'm a little nervous about how waterproof it will be, but it says it is and I'm sure a mattress protector will calm me on that end. I would recommend this without a doubt.
