We're not here to trick you with marketing promises, we're here to help you make more sustainable choices! So we want to set the right expectations.
Regular paper towels are made from wood fibers (trees). These fibers are long, so they can be loosely woven - creating a fluffy, absorbent product (like a sponge) but at the expense of our forest ecosystems. Our tree-free paper towels are made of bamboo fibers (which are shorter and silkier) so they are strong and absorbent but not as fluffy or sponge-like as a Bounty.
Think of them as an awesome sustainable alternative for your average wiping needs and the perfect sidekick to dishcloths or sponges for bigger spills.

Traditionally, toilet paper is whitened using chlorine (AKA bleach), a strong chemical that is harsh on the body and the planet. Fortunately, better options exist.
Our bamboo paper towels are whitened using an elemental chlorine-free (ECF) process. It's a lot better for the environment and safer for our customers.
By avoiding the use of elemental chlorine gas during the bleaching process, it prevents the formation of carcinogens.

YES THEY ARE!
It always makes us scratch our heads when we receive a "sustainable" product in wasteful, plastic packaging.
We wanted to take a holistic approach to sustainability so the rolls are individually wrapped in paper to avoid using plastic. The box is made of cardboard, and even the tape is plastic-free!
The wrappers are both functional and practical. They meet all hygiene standards, protect the rolls during transport, and stack beautifully in your bathroom waiting patiently for their turn to be used. Plus, they can be composted!
