These pencils are the absolute best! I bought them for my 4 year old son however, from my husband to our eldest we all love these pencils! Easy to write with and very comfortable.

My boys love these pencils because they have better control.

These are amazing for getting my 9 year old, who hates writing, to give it a chance. They are our “special handwriting pencils” and we have seen a huge improvement so far!

Toddler to grade school age children love these pencils (because they're triangular shaped with cool blue eraser, it's fun to use)! It's good children develop skill to hold writing/eating utensils properly, skills individuals will use thru their life - these pencils help in the natural way (suggestion thru comfort).

Nothing better than a comfortable pencil that the lead doesn’t break off. Fast ship out. I will purchase again.

The pencils are big enough for a toddler learning to write to hold comfortably, but not so fat that he can't grasp it correctly. He loves them.

These are the best pencils for children developing a grip. My son loves them. I like them for sketching and writing. The eraser is soft and erases well but it’s a bit floppy. It’s great for kids (less pressure needed to erase) a little cumbersome for adults.

there is nothing better to overcome holding a pencil correctly

My kids love them. They write so well. Very hard and so difficult to break. Came almost instantly!

Love em. Great for wood working. Since the pencil is angled it doesnt roll. Also ergonomic.

I use these when writing under the document reader in class. The thicker, darker lead makes it easier for kids to read & take notes.

These are quite sturdy, and feel nice to use. I get pain in my hands, and have been advised to use larger pencils, along with soft grip tools and foam rolls around pencils. Without any adaptations, these sit comfortably during use, and cause less strain than smaller pencils. They are well-made. The gold and black looks nice with the wood, and the teal eraser is a nice accent. The new, improved eraser seems fine, and does what it is supposed to do effectively. Haven't lost an eraser yet, and would only need to pinch the ferrule around the eraser to tighten it up.The graphite is smooth, putting down strong, dark lines. Pleasantly surprised by these, and I will be getting more when I have gone through them.

Good pencils - I bought for my children. They are learning to write and the larger pencils are helpful -

I love these pencils! Purchased then for my kids ranging in age from 14 to 1. They just feel good in your hand. They have a nice weight and mark very smoothly. My younger kids like the pencil more dull and the older ones sharpen it to a point for a dark but smooth line. All writing utensils should feel this good in your hand.

These pencils are the very best! My 4 year old, just learning to form letters is able to grip them. My 6 year old prefers these over a thin pencil, and even my husband uses them when working in the garage. Great purchase.

Best thick pencil. I can use a normal pencil sharpener unlike the flat carpenter pencils.

Great pencils for teaching your kids how to hold a pencil with a tripod grip. The triangular shape helps to encourage a proper hold. Lead is nice and dark and the eraser is quite large as well. Great product for the price! Will be buying more.

Every child should use these. Makes holding a pencil easier for children. These should be used by all schools for K thru 4.Now 2 months later. I use these absolutely wonderful pencils in ART class.!!! Using this pencil for my beginning sketch. It slides so smooth easily erases. I have given fellow members one and they like it also. They are a 2B fat lead. Enjoy!

My grandson loved these. He is starting kindergarten this fall and normally dislikes pencils crayons etc. I am a teacher and I bought some for myself as well.

OMG I love these big angled sides easy to grip with greasy hands. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and i am always writing down something. These are big and easy to use, holds good tip.

I can't love them more. First, they are festive and attractive. As advertised, they DO have an eraser, and they are very comfortable to write with.

A stylish and functional pencil. The Bear Claw has an attractive and distinctive look - colorful without being garish. It seems better balanced than other thick triangular pencils enabling comfortable writing or drawing for extended periods of time. The 2B graphite is lighter and harder than some No 2 or HB pencils. As a result, point retention is good, marks do not smear easily, and erasures are clean and almost complete. The factory-sharpened point, like the barrel, is also triangular which can be problematic. When used with small manual pocket sharpeners, it has a tendency to spin and not catch the blade. This is easily remedied with a single sharpening in a burr sharpener (classroom type with a crank) that rounds the point and the wood just behind it. Afterwards, it sharpens easily in almost any jumbo (9 mm) bore sharpener.

I got these as a gift for a young one to improve handwriting. He wouldn't use some Dixon Ticonderoga I bought him awhile back because 'he didn't like them'. Not sure why he didn't like those as he wouldn't particularly say, but he did like these. Not to mention, I also really liked the look and feel of them, and snuck one off for myself. I just got them and its strange but I find myself taking this pencil over the standard ones I've used my whole life. The grip and feel just sit in my hand better, and seem more natural.
