I'm one of those people that only writes a review if I've had a really awful or really amazing experience with the product, and let me tell you - even though I was very happy with the bottle itself, the customer service is what inspires me to write the review.I've bought three of these bottles now. Because I carry a water bottle with me everywhere, I'm really picky about my "everyday carry," if you will. It has to be:-lightweight-easy to open with one hand (for driving mostly)-absolutely leak proof so I can toss it anywhere-fit in cupholders-durable enough to withstand my clumsiness (being dropped repeatedly)-a wrist strap to minimize drops-easy to clean thoroughly with no spots for mold to hideThis bottle checks off all of those boxes for me. It's the only bottle that I've found to meet my requirements. I replaced my first one when I broke it, and that only finally happened after I accidentally dropped it from a balcony 16 feet in the air onto asphalt. But I do have one complaint - eventually the plastic piece that seals the drinking spout starts to turn brown and mildewed to a point where it can't be cleaned off anymore. I've tried everything. But this doesn't happen for at least a year. This time it took a year and a half of 24/7 use. So I emailed customer support to see if I could order replacement parts. They told me that they do not currently sell replacement parts, but instead are sending me a replacement water bottle - the whole water bottle - a year and a half after purchase. That is an amazing commitment to customer happiness if I've ever seen one. I thought about looking around to see if I could find one better, but I think I'm a customer for life now. Honestly, there probably isn't a better water bottle anyway

I had the 32 oz bottle and loved it so i purchased the 18 oz. I had a slight problem with the product and the folks at Embrava took great care to make sure they provided a solution. On top of being a customer friendly company, they offer a wonderful product. very sturdy well made bottle. The 32 oz fits perfectly in a bike cage for riding. The 18 oz is more narrow so in doesn't fit securely for the bike. It's great for the backpack. no leaks. thanks Embrava! Highly recommend this product.

I just received this today, but this is a really great water bottle. I had been eying it up for a little while and when I got it I thought it was great. And then I twisted off the top only to discover that it’s even better!! I have so many water bottles, infuser water bottles, shake bottles, canteens, yadayada.. and this one is the best thing I’ve seen so far. The strainer thing inside means that I can add whatever I want into the water itself without worry. And although I haven’t tried it yet, the box says it’s good for up to a 202F temp. That’s awesome. And it it has a locking feature on the one press button so it won’t accidentally open. So far everything is wonderful and I love it! Thanks!

Love this water bottle. I have used it every day since I started going to the gym for the first time in 30 years. I fill it up at home with water from the door of my fridge and then top it off from the drinking fountain at the gym as needed. Kind of wish I had gotten the bigger bottle but I didn't want all the extra weight in my small gym bag I carry. Would definitely purchase again. Have had zero leak issues with it. Very, very well designed. I did take the lanyard off because it was annoying but that was just a personal preference. Love the pop up lid and the size of the hole you drink the water out of. You don't have to suck the water out of the bottle since the hole is big enough to let the water flow smoothly. Perfect engineering in all aspects of construction.

I LOVE this water bottle and it's the best water bottle I have to date. I was looking for a water bottle that I can carry with me everywhere I go (in my purse, backpack for hiking, travel etc). and this was perfect! I love this size because it carries enough water to sustain me for my activity or part of the day (and I just refill when I need to), but not so big that if I get close to finishing, I'll regret carrying such a big bottle to take up space in my bag. I love the closure that covers the lip/drinking part so I don't have to worry about dirt or dust, and that it has a lock so when it's in my bag, I don't have to worry about it bumping into something popping open, then spilling all over my bag. I also love the strap. The strap allows me to carry it to my meetings and literally anywhere I go. This is a simple design that has it all! Not to mention, the material and overall texture makes it smooth and easy to carry in the hand. I love it and have bought the bigger size for other people as gifts. The feedback I've received was nothing but positive! I JUST lost mine last night at the gym and I feel like something is missing..... without hesitation, I am back and have another one in my cart ready to go!

I already own a 32oz Tritan (that my wife gifted me) and I love it. So, when the kids needed new bottles for school, we immediately bought three of these smaller versions. I was happy to see that these are designed and put together with the same level of quality and material as the larger one. There was a small issue with one of the three bottles (the cap must've been either damaged or an older design because one cap had a loose-fitting and flimsy spring), but the company customer support was incredibly quick to rectify the issue and a new replacement is on its way! I'm a fan.

Love the deal for buying both bottle sizes. Kept the smaller size for myself and gave the larger as a gift.Absolutely love my new bottle! I love the feel, I love how easy it is to open, how easy to close and lock, and how easily the water flows out, just the right amount and no having to create suction. Also its the perfect size to take around with me everywhere in my purse. And did i mention super easy to clean? No small parts getting lost.It also comes with a plastic fruit strainer which is nice and unexpected, but not required to use.

I was looking for a bottle to carry in my backpack to class and also to put in the car. Here are the things I've noticed so far:PROS:Compact (18oz is tad bit taller than a plastic water bottle, while still having the same girth); the exterior has a rubbery-ish coating that does not scratch or sweat (THIS IS SUCH AN AMAZING FEATURE, because certain plastics like Tritan scratches easily and hoard dirt in those scratches); the mouthpiece and the rubber seal is made of high quality plastic that did not mold or smell even after being used with morning breath and coffee breath (usually, the mouthpieces will start developing a weird smell and the sealant will start having black spots--if you have a Contigo, you'll know what I mean); the wide neck makes cleaning the inside such a breeze; the design has two air holes in the lid: one is the mouthpiece and the other is to allow water to flow out quicker or induce better air flow (this means that I don't have to break my neck trying to tilt the bottle all the way back just to get a sip).CONS:Can we get rid of the wrist strap, or at least make it removable?? It's a pain in the butt to wash these and wait for them to dry. They also get so dirty (because it's weaved fabric). Please also make a different logo or color. My friends keep asking me if I'm sipping from a Uterine bottle. One last thing is having the lid depend on sturdier springs to pop it open and keep it propped open.TL;DR: Great bottle with well-thought out specs. I would buy it again, but I'm hoping for Embrava to come out with a second and improved model in the future to address all of the small cons in this first design.

I waited a bit before I made my review to test it out in various situations.AT THE OFFICE - The small size makes it very easy to fit into a medium/large bag. However, should you not want to place it inside a bag, you can wrap it around your wrist and get compliments from everyone about how sleek it looks. The bottle so far is not leaking, which makes me feel confident in placing it inside a bag. The one-click function is exactly what I needed as I was getting annoyed with my other water bottle that required me to turn a cap. Additionally, the graphic design on this bottle along with the slogan is quite inspirational. I've actually been hydrating more often due to this efficient and lovely bottle.AT THE GYM - Love the size, wrist strap, and small mouth of the bottle. I was looking for a water bottle that had a small mouth, but no straw, and this is perfect. When I'm on a bike, running on the stairs, or just simply walking from place to place, I don't fear accidentally spilling water all over my face and shirt just to get a sip. The wrist strap also helps me not to drop this bottle during activity. The fast-pouring spout is also a nice detail. This is something I was concerned about since the mouth is small, but it works great.CLEANING THE BOTTLE - Easy to clean; I simply hand wash the bottle by rinsing with water and soap, then hand drying or leaving the bottle open sitting out to air dry. The silicone plug has not dislodged itself in any way, but this bottle is only a week or so old now.I haven't put any other beverage types into the bottle yet (carbonated, soda, juice, coffee, etc.), but so far, I'm pleased.

*Updated after 1.5 years of use: I've been using this grey water bottle for about a year and a half, everyday. I use this bottle at home and bring it with me everywhere I go. It is fairly lightweight and has a slim design, so it's easy to carry around. At first, I didn't think the wrist strap would make a very big difference...but it does. It is so much easier to carry this water bottle using the wrist strap! I would definitely recommend it if you are planning on carrying the bottle by hand. The water bottle is still in good condition, with only a few scuff marks on the outside of the bottle. So, the frosty finish does not seem to rub off or get scuffed very easily. The cap lock is still working fine. I only had one time when the bottle leaked, but it was my fault--I accidentally closed the cap on top of the wrist strap, which left a gap that let the water out. Another good thing about the cap is that I don't have to worry about the mouthpiece getting dirty/exposed to germs. There are times when I see people dropping their water bottles on the ground...with straw mouthpiece getting dirty. No need to worry about that with this bottle. However, for those who wear lip balm, lip gloss, or lip stick, it might build up on the mouthpiece. So it's necessary to wash the cap every now and then. When I first wrote this review, I said "Overall, I don't regret the purchase at all. The amount of use I get out of the bottle is worth the price." This still holds true after 1.5 years. I would gladly buy another bottle in a different color, but this one is still working just fine for me!Pros:-Slim size: Fits in my everyday bag and in my small car cup holder.-Wrist loop: A handy feature that makes it easier to carry the bottle.-No leaking so far-Cap shows no sign of breaking yet-Cap lock feature is good for when I put my bottle in my purse.-Good for being on-the-go: the cap protects the mouthpiece and prevents leaking. The wrist strap makes it easy to carry. And the slim size makes it easy to bring along.-Looks good: I really like the frosted look, which not only looks good but also feels good to the touch. There are a few scratches on the frosted exterior but overall, it's still in great condition.-Long-lasting.Cons:-Not as easy to clean as some other resusable water bottles.-Small size = refilling more often. If I'm out all day, I have to refill the water bottle a few times.-Wrist strap is not easily removable: According to the Q&A it can be removed, but the official instructions don't mention it. It would be a big plus if the wrist strap could be easily taken off, especially for washing.-For commuters who drive: It's not very convenient drinking from this bottle while driving because you have to fumble around with the cap. The lid will kinda get in the way of your line of vision--but it's clear, so it won't totally obstruct your view because you can see through it.-Cap makes a distinct sound when opening/closing. When I'm in class the clicking sound can obviously be heard when I'm closing my water bottle. Not a big con, but I'd like to drink my water discretely.

Bought as a gift for my brother. He contacted me a week or so after Christmas & thanked me again for getting it for him. He said it was great when he went to workout or play on his indoor soccer league.

I love this water bottle for so many reasons! First, there is NO STRAW. I have decided that I will not use any bottles that have straws. They are a pain to disassemble, clean (as best I can), and reassemble. The 18-oz size is wonderful. It is plenty of water but the bottle feels petite (compared to the 24-oz size that most other water bottles are) and is lighter too. It is smoky grey but I can see the water level as I fill it. I LOVE the lid: It has a big mouth opening so I can get a big drink; it has a big fill opening so I can add ice; it has a lid which protects the mouth part from germs; it has a button to pop the lid open and drink with one-handed ease; the lid locks so there are no accidental button pushes leading to spills; and the lid is pretty compact so it does not bulk up the bottle. Lastly, I personally just like the way the bottle feels to my hand. Whatever coating is on it feels like satin and I hope it doesn't come off too soon.My only quibbles are that the mouth opening could be a little bit more ergonomic. And, because the mouth opening is so big, I have a fear that if the kids drop the bottle, it will gush all over. As such, it feels like a great water bottle for me. Maybe not so much for them. For klutzy kids, I would recommend the Avex Bravos water bottle. I'd love some additional colors (smoky sea green!)I plan to buy additional Embrava bottles and Avex bottles to outfit our whole family.

I've tried several water bottles over several years and this one is my favorite. The size, shape, and capacity its strongest qualities. It fits in every cup holder, and its comfortable to hold and carry. It's great at work because it's compact and doesn't draw attention...I don't want to be the guy in the meeting chugging water from a 32 oz fluorescent nalgene. The color and finish are are versatile and never look out of place. I bring it to the gym too. It easily fits in the treadmill cup holders. I think the 18 oz capacity helps to keep me from drinking too much water at once too. It's weakest point is probably the lid. It opened and spilled out once when I dropped it at the gym (the second lock was not engaged), but usually it can withstand a fall without opening. It's possible to get a false lock with the click lock. It will appear locked, but the little clip isn't fully in, and it can unlock and spring open on its own when it's in this state. It's just something to be aware of though...just ensure it's locked right. When the secondary lock is in place, it's sealed tight and I've stored it in gym bags and backpacks in this state with no leaks. It's quick and easy to clean, and the tritan material is great at resisting odors. I use a supplement that has fruit flavoring in it before and during workouts, and it's still great for drinking plain water. Whether I'm at home, work , on the road, or at the gym, I've got this bottle with me and it's keeping me hydrated.

The packaging is beautiful, and so is the bottle. My boyfriend even saw it and said "Wow, that IS a good-looking bottle." Who knew a bottle could have stylish design? I also love that it has a measurement table in the back to show its capacity, and the quote written on the front is pretty inspiring for when I look at it in the morning to start my day. :)I do not have to be afraid that this thing will spill if the cap is on, especially with the second lock in place (which I didn't even know it had until the item came in!). The material is really comfortable to hold, almost "soft" feeling, and I love the bottle's skinny design. It fits easily into my mini gym bag and doesn't seep all over the clothing inside. The strap is comfortable, a lovely pattern, and swivels as needed. The pour spout also accommodates a good amount of water, even allowing me to take gulps at a time without having to suck in.So far it's proven very durable and is an attractive accessory to many activities. I would definitely recommend it to anyone I know, young or old.
