So far I LOVE these! We had this giant square monstrosity from the previous owners and the other shower head was pretty awful too. I finally ordered 2 of these because between 2 boys, 2 adults who work full time and a newborn, we are using LOTS of water! My two older boys TAKE FOREVER and waste water. These shower heads are great, I can already tell we are saving water because the hot water doesnt run out after 10 minutes! I have long hair and dont feel like the pressure is lacking at all. Super easy for my hubs to install and I am REALLY excited to see if my water bill reflects some decent savings!!
My husband was skeptical about purchasing a low-flow shower head due to an episode from Seinfeld (despite my insistence that technology has come a long way in 20+ years) Bought this shower head anyways and he hasn't complained. I do not notice any difference in pressure from our previous standard shower head.
This is very well made. You can tell it cuts back on the water but it’s exactly what I was looking for. Still has plenty of pressure to bath but keeps my kids from wasting water!
This replaced a monstrosity that was luxurious, but I don't want to think how much water it was using. I was afraid this one wouldn't feel like it was enough water or pressure, plus I would have to give up adjustibility. But since this had the cabled/corded shower head, I figured I'd give it a shot. It's great! Feels like it's more than enough water, and is adjustable to boot! High quality construction makes it feel like a luxurious showerhead, not like you're trying to live like a pauper.
I am loving this showerhead. I’ve had several similar handheld showerheads before, including ones costing more, and I like this one the best.First of all, it was easy to install. I have little strength in my hands and difficulty raising my arms over my head, but I was able to do it in less than five minutes, including putting some plumber’s tape on the fitting. I’ve had more difficulty opening twist top soda bottles. If you’re worried about this as a DIY project, don’t be; it’s about as complex as changing a lightbulb. The stainless steel hose is more flexible than others I’ve had. It doesn’t get all twisted up and try to fight you.But what really sets this showerhead apart is the flow. It’s adjustable and at the harder end, it’s powerful enough to massage knots out of your neck muscles. But the needle spray is the one I like. It’s hard to describe, because it feels simultaneously hard and soft. It’s hard enough to rinse the shampoo out of your hair quickly, but it feels soft. It reminds me of the bubble jets on a Jacuzzi. I don’t mean to gush, but every time I step into the shower, I just love the way it feels. It doesn’t feel like a 1.5 GPM low-flow shower.Because we have really hard water, I have to replace showerheads after 4 or 5 years, and from now on, I will choose this Niagara one.
Used to replace outdoor shower on my RV... Satisfied with purchase, seems like better quality than the original.
I just installed an ECO Tankless Water Heater 240/18 in my rental unit on the coldest day of the year. I have 150 electric service which requires 2 double pole 40 breakers. I also have a very complainy tenant. Normally ground water in South Jersey is in the 50’s. This is significant because if the heater has to raise the incoming water from say 37 degrees to get a hot shower of 110 or 120 the rise is too much for the unit and you”ll only wind up with a tepid shower. So I researched and the other variable is the gallons per minute. I read all the reviews on the 150 gpm shower heads and chose this one. Well well well I am now delighted the shower is hot and steams up the bathroom and the water pressure is just like a normal 250 gpm head. In the end my complainy tenant is very happy’ Ive saved her on her electric bills and she has not had to compromised on the quality of her shower. For tankless water heaters in winter this shower head is essential.
The original reason why I purchased this one is to save on hot water bills. Folks, for all of you who were looking for the steamy function on your other shower heads, look no further. This is the one . I have no trouble rinsing out shampoo and conditioner and I have long hair. I also use it on my dogs long hair. Only thing I wish it had was an on and off switch since my temperature on my water is hard to set and reset.
I have 3 rental properties plus my own residence and this is without a doubt the best shower spray ever.1. The pressure and type of spray is adjustable so you choose how hard or soft on a gradual scale . There is no click to the next spray type. You just move the spray pressure and type as you turn it up or down.2. It has a long enough cord so you can sit in the tub and do your hair or a pressure massage.3. It is not flimsy or plastic coated and the cord does not curl or kink.4.The spectrum of spray goes from very strong (I can pressure clean my feet after a day in the garden haha)to gentle rain ( I just want to stand there and cool down).5. Can't believe this little guy saves water but it does.6. The PRICE IS HALF of what I have paid for high named shower massages and has better results and better quality. My tenants LOVE these! So do I!
Every time I get into the shower I think that I need to come and give this a review.... then forget.I am totally pleased with this Niagara Conservation 2.0 GPM Handheld Showerhead. It is the very best one I have tried for my low water pressure out of many. This one does the job!!I have a well and notoriously poor water pressure for certain applications. I had tried one handheld showerhead and laughed out loud. It didn't even feel like water was going down my back. I decided to test it by facing the head toward the ceiling for a fountain effect. Unbelievable! The water fountain was 3-4 inches up from the showerhead! The next one I tried did a little better by shooting 8-10 inches - but still not near a satisfying shower but at least it did get me all wet.I finally found this Niagara showerhead - I tested the water fountain.. "oh look it has a nice fountain", "oh look it goes all the way to the top of the shower stall" "oh look...oops, there are water marks on the ceiling" B-) This is the first handheld showerhead we've had, since the very first one 30 years ago, with which we actually don't HAVE to have the water fully turned on.
This is a terrific product: bargain-priced fun and efficiency and design (hence the reference to the Mazda Miata). Some of the details of my new love affair:1) The entire product is chrome, unlike many showerheads that have black or white or gray plastic on the handle or the arm support. (OK, I know that technically it isn't chrome, because chrome is a metal, and much of this is plastic*. But you know what I mean.) On the face of the showerhead there's a tiny gray ring, but it's so subtle that it's almost invisible.2) The hose is metal, extremely flexible, and a full 6' long. Many handhelds come with 5' hoses, and that extra 1' does make a difference, especially in a full-size tub.3) The slot in the bracket that holds the showerhead is oval-shaped, which means the showerhead won't accidentally twist left or right due to the force of the water -- thus getting water all over your bathroom floor. You can still adjust the spray left or right via the ball joint -- but that is relatively stiff, and it won't wander by itself.4) The spray adjustment is infinitely variable. I.e., instead of definite clicks for preset options decided by the manufacturer (rather than you), the face of this showerhead rotates seamlessly 270° to provide the mix and tingle that you want. E.g., if the fully-counterclockwise position is too forceful for you, just twist the head 10° (or 8° or 13° or whatever) counterclockwise, and it will soften. Twist it fully counterclockwise, you'll get full massage. Twist it back a bit clockwise, and you'll get some regular spray mixed with the massage. This is so obviously superior (imho) to 4 or 5 or 7 presets, it's just laughable.5) As many others have mentioned, price: This is a great-looking, wonderfully-performing handheld showerhead at 1/2 or 1/4 the price of others out there. I've tried several of those, and this one's better.*PS: It's worth noting that while the showerhead and bracket are plastic, the coupling that screws onto your shower arm is metal -- which is a good thing, because that's the part most likely to crack (usually due to over-enthusiastic tightening).
