I like this. Would have like it to be more air right. However, it does the job. Used it for food composting in the past and now for dirty diapers for the day then take them out to the dumpster or to the washer for cloth diapers at the end of the day.

This is an excellent compost bucket. Great capacity for all myproduce scraps waiting to go to the compost pile. I line it with plastic grocery bags. The squared shape makes it fit well under the sink. Lid holds down closed securely. Sturdy. Cleans easily. Great value for the money.

If you are looking to start a compost pile or just want to keep scraps out of the trash, this is definitely a way to go.

Exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight enough to transport easily but sturdy enough to hold the compost I’m putting in it.

Perfect under the sink waste bin. Easy to transport to my compost pile and easy to clean. Handle secures lid. I empty the bin every few days haven't had a problem odors.

This is much better than the one provided by my local recycling/waste removal service; it's a bit larger and has better weight distribution making it easier to carry. It also has a better rim for holding the liner without it sliding inside easily.

Perfect travel compost bucket— love that the lid latches in two positions and is connected for easy flipping.

Not cheap and flimsy! This is actually the best compost bin I've ever had on my counter top. I've used everything you can think of from coffee cans to the fancy ones with the carbon filters (a waste of money). If your compost is sitting around long enough to stink then you're doing something wrong. There's plenty of room and a breather vent on top. I've had no issues with smell or bugs. I love the way this thing is built! The lid actually seats into the handle so it'll stay open while you're working. The handle also makes it easy to haul it to my compost pit and it cleans out fast. I've owned this for a month now and I don't have one single complaint. If you're looking for a counter top compost bin, look no further. I shopped around and came back to this and I'm glad I did. I'll probably buy a back-up just in case they discontinue these because it's THAT good.Update 2018: For all those complaining about the lid.. it's not supposed to snap shut. It's pretty convenient not having to un-hitch or snap every time I open my compost. Just one more plastic piece to bust off. And if your countertop composter is starting to stink or attract flies, it's time to dump it out! I bought mine for 9 bucks, 4 years ago and I'm still using it.
