They're cute and to their credit they don't claim to do anything but reduce drying time, which I'm sure they do. I only bought them because I love penguins and lack self control....That said I regret nothing.

Honestly I was taken back a bit because of the price of the 6 dryer balls. But honestly, now that I have them and have used more than a few times I can say they’re definitely worth it!! They are a fair trade product so you’re helping out for a good cause!! I have noticed less static with our clothes and it defintely helps that they have a pamphlet with directions on how to use the balls. I didn’t know there was a thing of over drying with them and that’s what causes the static so the pamphlet that comes with the product has useful info. Also, the design I got was the penguins and they’re cute! I haven’t seen any dark color transfer to my light colors from the dryer balls so that’s another positive thing about this product. I highly recommend this brand if you were a skeptic like me!

I love these!! I’m brand new to this concept and spend quite a bit of time researching which dryer balls to purchase. While the little faces on the balls add to the fun of using them, the real reason I selected these was because they are hand made by underprivileged women in Nepal for fair wages AND in ethical working conditions. I think that’s important.I purchased a set of the penguins and a set of the sheep design. I’ve been using the sheep design and will be giving the penguins as a gift. I think these are awesome and I’m super happy with the quality and performance.

I was really skeptical that dryer balls would work. But, I figured I'd give them a shot. What's the worse that could happen? They don't work and I return them. I could have purchased a lesser priced dryer ball set, but my wife loves penguins. So, I figured, this would be visually appealing for her. Anyway, we tried them out as soon as we received them. Used on them to dry 3 loads of laundry that day. I did notice a bit shorter dryer time. And, our clothes were fully dried and a bit more fluffed. We used to get some cool spots after the dryer was done and had to move around the clothes and dry them for a bit longer. With the dryer ball, they tossed around the clothes and got them to dry completely and quicker. Used them again almost a week later on our beddings. Worked like a charm as advertised. I've only had them for a couple weeks and used them on about 8 loads of laundry. So far so good. Can't say much more than that, for now.

I hate using dryer sheets and all the chemicals that come with them, so I decided to try wool dryer balls. These are perfect, yes there is a slight noise as the dryer balls are being tossed around in the dryer but it is nowhere near the volume of the plastic ones. I also love the fact that I can use my favorite essential oils to give my laundry a fresh scent and it's not overpowering or too strong. While I know that there are many brands on the market that are just as good and maybe cheaper, I love that Friendsheep is helping to provide jobs for women and others in Nepal. I highly recommend this brand!

These dryer balls really are adorable and make the chore of laundry more cheerful. Be sure and follow the instructions to dry a load of dark clothes the first time you use the black penguin balls. After that, you will have no problem with using them to dry whites or light colors. Dryer balls really work and are a good investment. I am going to be giving these as gifts! They are a little smaller than "Molly's" dryer balls, but they still do the job!

Whether these work or not, I don’t know. My husband is convinced that they’re destroying our dryer. I mainly use them now because he hates them. This is a marriage made in heaven.
