I have been buying this for a couple of years now. An amazing product for so many reasons; taste, ease of mixing, and plant based. I go through 1-2 per month.I have one little gripe that won't cost it a star... but the containers are 1/2 full? I know manufacturers are trying to cut costs by shrinking the amounts purchased, but when you get a fairly robust plastic container that's only 1/2 full... it's getting ridiculous. It's a waste of plastic and turns an otherwise wonderful product into a scam. Come on Orgain, you are better than that.

I ordered the creamy chocolate and started replacing 1-2 meals a day with it. I can’t compare this with any other protein shake mix because this is the first powdered protein mix I’ve bought. However, I can tell you that the taste is great. It can be a little chalky at first, but after learning how to blend it right with Nutra Ninja bullet, there is not really any chalkiness or grit to it especially if you add a banana and a handful of ice to it. I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk as the base. The best part is I’m not hungry for about 4.5 hours which was my goal. I’ll be ordering more.

I started with almond milk (lactose issues), then went to a 50/50 almond milk and water. I found it broke down quicker with the 50/50 blend. The flavor is great. I've tried a number of powders over the years and this one is the best. I've changed my diet, so ingredients are key. There are no artificial any things in this one. They use Stevia, which is a natural sweetener that is better for your body than anything else (other than Xylitol). If you are not used to Stevia, it may take a little to "come to the dark side", but your body will appreciate it!

This is the first plant-based protein powder that doesn't taste like a plant-based powder! I've tried so many different plant-based powders over the year that always ended in me throwing the product away, (I still cringe at the money I tossed away, but couldn't bring myself to swallow the nasty options or give them to friends or family). The Orgain Creamy Choc. Fudge Protein Powder so perfectly chocolatey, I have to stop myself from making more than one glass at a time! It's easy to swallow, unlike the uncountable other plant-based products I've tried. No gross after-taste, either. I usually mix it with just unsweetened almond milk, but occasionally, I'll blend it with ice and powdered peanut butter for a yummy Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie/Milkshake. Any smoothie you add chocolate to, you can substitute Orgain with great results. This product is very close in taste and texture to whey products, that I have stopped looking at any other brands, (I have only tried the chocolate Orgain so far). Is it identical to whey? Of course not, but it's so close, your taste buds won't know the difference, but your overall gut health will. There's also no heavy after-taste associated with stevia, which is a bonus. In addition to the great flavor, I love that it's organic and vegan. The only non-organic ingredient is Xanthan Gum, which is the last ingredient on the list.Overall, what is my impression?1) Great chocolatey taste2) Non-gritty texture3) No nasty after-taste4) Great meal substitute or on-the-go meal5) Healthy choice being vegan and organicNow you can stop looking for an adequate chocolatey plant-based protein mix. Orgain is more than adequate, it's exceptional. It will not only please your taste buds, but your body, too!

I kinda live on this stuff. As a lazy vegan who loves chocolate and lifting weights Orgain has become a staple of my diet. For work lunches (I only get like 10 minutes to eat) I pack a jar with two scoops of Orgain and two tablespoons of chia seeds. Just add water and it fills me right up. For breakfast (or snack, or desert) I'll put frozen berries, Orgain, and Cheerios in my bowl and add soymilk. It's even better with coconut yogurt alternative and granola, maybe even some maple syrup... okay now I'm hungry.Anyway, the flavor is good, the texture is good, the protein content is good, and it's organic. I'm not really a fan of stevia, but that's not enough to knock off a star here, it's protein powder after all. I'd love to see it come in more efficient packaging, too. I have a kitchen full of those empty plastic jars now.I lost 50 lbs over the past couple of years and I'm not gonna say it's _because_ of Orgain, but it has certainly been an important tool in my weightloss and fitness toolbox.
