Theyre great! After they get wet they want to fall apart at the seams between each pot but thats ok! They do theyre job well. I had to put mine on something to keep them flat as well before I planted them into a bigger pot.
These are really nice but way to small for what I needed will keep and find something else to use them for
What I really like is the ability to stick the whole thing in the ground as opposed to pulling the plant out of plastic. The roots grow right into it and through it.
I read all the reviews before purchasing these peat pots. I have had no problems with them. Some reviewers complained about the pots sticking together and it happens....I've had it happen with all the other peat pots I've used before. My germination success rate is around 95% with any issues being on my part. The pots have also stayed intact without any issues with disintegration. The size is perfect....not too big or small. I will definitely purchase again.
These came on time and in good condition. (not smashed) I didn't give points for giftable but I suppose if you have a gardener in your life and feel so inclined they would be giftable as they are wrapped and nicely presented. They are perfect for starting seeds and the price is right.
These are great little starter cubes, look like they'll have no trouble decomposing when it's time to plant them in the ground.
These are perfect! My son's school needed biodegradable pots for seedlings and these were perfect. ( didnt have any egg cartons available )I also appreciated how fast I received them so kudos to the company.I also do a lot of gardening so I can put them to use soon.
This is exactly what I needed/wanted for my seed starters. The product description is spot on. There was a slight shipping delay but the sellers made it right. I would definitely recommend and purchase again in the future.
Plant your indoor seeds in these guys and then transplant them right in the garden. I cut the bottom off (or at least open) and they decompose in the garden. It’s less stress for the plant as they remain in their own soil during transplant.
I ordered these to use for succulent cuttings and seeds. I make succulent terrariums and saw a photo of a small plant started in a peat pot that was planted directly in the container. I am going to try it and see if it works. The pots arrived quickly and the seller communicated efficiently. Thank you.
The pots are all I expected and are working well! I’ve transplanted a few plants I started in these and they’re doing great! Also was contacted personally by the seller. Great customer service!
Love the trays. They arrived on time and totally intact. One thing I was concerned about when I bought them was that they would fall apart before I could germinate the seeds (because they are biodegradable and staying wet most of the time). However, no problem with that at all. I definitely plan on buying more trays!
I like that germination is super FAST! Like in 2 days seed sprouts came up and the pots are biodegradable, so once sprouted just leave them in the pot, cover with more soil. Or sprout them by a sunny window and then transfer. The little green sd sprouts are leaf lettuce and the non sprouted came in later that day after the picture was taken. The other little pots are sunflower seeds. It costs to buy the starters, but saves money when you grow from seed. Also this is Wisconsin, we have frost in May, so seed starting in June is good too.Pots held up outside in heavy rainstorm too, very durable!
I purchased these to use with my students. They LOVED using the spray bottles to moisten them and plant the seedlings. We had almost 100% success rate of germination with a full set of these pots. So far they have transplanted nicely into the garden beds. I read mixed reviews about using these types of peat pots but I can say that the roots of this particular product had no problem busting through the peat when watered regularly.
Used for my kid's school project. I like how they can just be planted without needing to transplant the plant. Environment-friendly!
Please send your discount you offered so that I can apply it to my next order. Peat Pot Seedling Starter Trays
These are great because you can transplant your seeds without having to take them out of the container. The seeds adjust better to the outdoors and the containers allow the roots to grow stronger.
I love , love, love these starters! They are so hard to find these days. I keep finding much larger ones, not useful with todays small window sills. These are prefect to start my yearly garden & flowers for my porches!. They sit well on the window sills- I do put something under them, was they will drain. Its so wonderful to go from these small pots right into the ground for planting- they just dissolve into the ground over time- no need to pull the seedling out & disrupt its growth patterns. Further the arrival date was next week, I already have the item!!!!
THEY WORK GREAT AND SO EASY TO USE!! JUST START YOUR SEEDLING IN THESE AND WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PUT YOUR NEW PLANT IN ITS POT THAT'S IT NO TAKING IT OUT OF A POT TO REPLANT!! BEING DISABLED ANYTHING THAT CAN MAKE THINGS EASIER THE BETTER AND THESE NOT ONLY WORK GREAT TO GET MY SEEDLING GOING GREAT BUT MAKE IT EASIER TO POT THEM TOO!!!
Super fast shipping. Perfect size to fit in my planting trays. I love that I can put my seedlings straight into the ground without having to disturb their roots. Can't wait to start my crops for this spring!
Product as expected. Great starter kits. Hold water well enough (willnot destroy if you water them daily) but you can see they will autodestroy once the plant is repotted.
I purchased these for an early spring garden. They where shipped in a reasonable time frame. Even though I have not used them . They look like one of the best peat pot I have seen in a while and shipped with out damage.
