Just bought this filter, started using it in the morning and by the time my partner came home they noticed my apartment didn't smell like my dog (he didn't know I bought this). I did expect it to be smaller, but it's still smaller than the other purifiers I was looking at. The tv in the picture is 65", just for scale. Luckily, it fits in with the modern look of my place, if you need something to filter the air then this is one to consider!

I wasn't so sure about this purifier at first, as every room I moved it in started off yellow (fair air quality) and after about 5 minutes would switch to blue (good air quality). Then one night I had vegetable roasting in the oven and the unit (which was about 25 feet away) kicked on red (unhealthy air quality...the squash was burning). Since then, I've noticed it turning on frequently when there is strong odors (cooking or otherwise) and kids/dog activity nearby. We have a large dog that excessively sheds. The amount of dander has decreased in the room she mostly stays and the "doggie" smell has greatly improved! I love this purifier and plan to purchase more for our home. It is very easy to use. I haven't had to change the filters yet, but it looks easy as well.

To get things out of the way, this is a great air purifier. It works well, is simple to set up, runs really quietly, and doesnt take up a giant amount of spaceI thought this review was going to be really quick, something along the lines of "this was simple to use and it works really well. quiet too." And it is all that, I even led with those points. But I thought I was just saying that to say it. And while it DOES work really well; all three of its fan speeds are very quiet for how much they work, the controls are very intuitive, and the timers are simple to use, I didnt expect it to be much better than the competition. While I dont have a ton of experience personally owning purifiers, Ive been around plenty and this one seems to be better than all the rest. I even unintentionally put it to the test when I accidentally burned a little bit of food the other day. Bringing the air purifier down to my kitchen helped clear that up super quickly and I couldnt be more pleased (unless I didnt burn my food).I would highly recommend this product to anyone interested in an air purifier; RENPHO makes great products and I will always be happy to buy them

I could not be happier with an air cleaner as I am with this one. I have had this running 24/7 for that past month and a half and it works amazing. People cannot tell i smoke inside. It is super quite on low. Med you hear a little air movement but does not disturb you. High speed you will hear wind blowing from the machine but it is not a issue as its still quite only the sound of air blowing. The machine itself is built very well and is high quality. Its a nice size and fits most anywhere. The internet connection to allow you to remotely control it is such a big plus. Considering buying another for other rooms.

We purchased three of these units in the last week or so. Two are the newer models and the second is a lower priced model. The difference between the three centers upon the casing style and one having a more noticeable low fan sound. Despite the one with the louder fan, it is NOT noticeable after you use it a day or so. All three are 100% better than those we are replacing which are at least ten year old. These ar of excellent quality and workmanship and worth ever cent we sent on each of them. The filters that come with all three units are excellent and will probably give us excellent returns in our investment.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this air purifier is. It has a very nice, clean look-n-feel. Pretty light yet doesn’t look cheap. I really like the features on it that are just enough—not too much, not too little. Really, the only feature I really need is the fan speed, which my other air purifier has. But, the extra features on this are really nice: air quality indicator with various light colors, 4 different solid filters with light indicators, wifi-enabled to control it from anywhere in the house, alexa-enabled control to turn on/off, locking feature for kids to not mess with the buttons, and more! OK, granted that I don’t really need to control it from the phone app via wifi, but it’s pretty nifty. The air purifier seems to work pretty well, and the air feels clean. Love the fact that the app also shows how much filter life is left. Of course, not sure how much the filters cost down the line, but seems like they are cleanable so they should at least last for a while. A+ in my opinion. I do have another Renpho product, and it seems like a trustworthy brand so far. The manual has pretty good English and without typos, which I appreciate. :)

We are very pleased with this air purifier. We have previous experience with the Coway Airmega 200M, which is also a good air purifier, but this unit has a few extra features that make it a better fit for us.Overall, the Coway and Renpho both seem to filter air very well and both seem to have similar response times to pollutants in the air like smoke from cooking. We do not have a separate air quality tester to verify this, but subjectively, both seem to have good performance. Installing the filters on both is also very easy. Both also have an auto mode that adjusts the fan speed based on the detected level of air pollution. Despite these similarities, there are a few feature differences. The Coway has an Eco mode feature that turns the fan off to save electricity when it hasn't detected pollution for awhile, which is a nice feature, but the other differences cause us to favor the Renpho.First, the Renpho has built-in WiFi so you can control the purifier from an app instead of having to physically get up and touch the controls. I am sure many people will find that useful, but I know there are others (like us) that prefer to not have a lot of extra apps on their phones or devices on their WiFi. For those of you in that second category, we have found that we can use all of the features on the purifier perfectly fine just with the touch controls. In our experience so far, you don't lose any basic functionalities by skipping the app, so the inclusion of the WiFi capability is really just a plus because you can get the app's benefits if you want or just use it as a "dumb" purifier if don't. The WiFi light may blink if it's not connected, but we didn't find that very noticeable (especially because of the Sleep mode discussed below).Second, the Renpho has a lock feature on the controls. This lets you hold the lock button for three seconds and disable the touch controls until the lock button is held for three seconds again. We have a toddler and this air purifier is for her room. We originally had the Coway in there, but without the lock feature, she would routinely go over to the air purifier and start pressing buttons, turning it off and on repeatedly, etc. With the lock feature on the Renpho, she doesn't even try to mess with it anymore. Finally, the Renpho has a sleep mode that lowers the fan speed to a nearly silent level and turns off the lights on top. This is another huge benefit for people with children or for people like my wife that can't stand any light in the room while they are sleeping. If the Coway is able to do that, we haven't been able to find that feature yet.Overall, we have been very pleased with this air purifier, and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is my first air purifier I've ever owned and so far it's been a fantastic purchase. The product requires very little assembly, all you need to do is open the back panel and remove the four separate filter parts. They come in plastic bags which need to be removed and placed back into the purifier in the same direction they were taken out (very simple).Once plugged in and turned on, the machine chimes and goes through a startup sequence which begins to sample the air. The quality of the air is displayed by two led rings: ranging from red (low quality), yellow (fair), and blue (clean). The interface is self explanatory with simply settings: fan speed, auto, timer, lock, and filter. When the unit detects low quality air (red led), the fan turns up to the highest fan speed to clean the air as quickly as possible. The longest I've seen the unit stay at 'red' is 10 minutes (500 sq/ft bedroom) this was while I was vacuuming my carpet. At this speed, the unit can be easily audible. The middle fan speed (yellow led) is still audible but is not distracting. The longest time span I've seen at yellow is 5 minutes. The low fan speed (blue led) is barely noticeable and actually perfect for sleeping as it produces a similar sound to white noise. If you're in the market for a ergonomic and well designed air purifier, I recommend this product. I can visibly see my room is significantly less dusty and I am no longer constantly sneezing. Attached video starts with fan speed 1 and cycles to highest speed.

Overall, this a great air purifier. I have bad allergies and usually sleep with an air filter on. My previous air purifier was an older Holmes model, and this is definitely an upgrade.Pros: Slick design, quiet. This definitely feels like it is the Cadillac/Mercedes Benz model (high end). Easy to unpackage and set up. Manual is very good and understandable. Love the auto mode, which senses the quality of the air and adjusts automatically. I'm just not sure what it is sensing exactly, but it does seem to be automatically adjusting to something. The two bright round lights indicate whether the air quality is good, fair, or unhealthy. It also has a sensor for how dirty the air filters are (may be more indicative of how long the filters have been used). Has a small foot print although it is a bit larger than my smaller Holmes air purifier. This purifier incorporates multiple filters, and I can definitely feel and sense the cleaner air when it is on.Cons: The lights are too bright. The two big Air Quality monitor lights can be turned off, but I feel that even the rest of the smaller LED lights are still a bit too bright for my taste. I like to sleep with the room completely dark. So I just turn the Renpho Air Purifier so the lights are faces away from me. The air filters are definitely high quality, but I think they will definitely cost more to replace than my previous Holmes compatible air filters.Would like to see WiFi version of this that you can control with your phone. Overall, excellent quality air purifier.

This is just what I was looking for. The air purifier came well packaged. It's a very manageable size and runs quietly. It's more like a white noise in the background. The back of the unit opens to reveal the 5 layers of filters. The controls on the front of the unit are easy to use and you can tell by the colors on the unit what the current air quality is. Red is bad, yellow is ok, and blue is good. There is an auto setting so that it will kick it up a notch if it senses the air quality is worse than "blue." You can see in the video how when I first turned it on, it cycled through to find "yellow" air quality. I put this in my bedroom and could quickly feel a difference sleeping at night. I can see dust particulate on the filter, so it's definitely working. I wish I had purchased this sooner!

We have 3 dogs, a fireplace (used in the winter) and vaulted/cathedral ceilings in our main living room and foyer entrance. We placed this unit at the main entrance way to cover our main room where most of the family activity is and the pet activity. This unit has certainly changed the quality of the air in our home. It is winter here (Philly area) and the fireplace is running pretty constant. My wife used to get some coughs from the dust and pet dander in the room, but reports that she has not had any coughing - amazing results! It has a timer function so we can shut it off during the night. The unit is attractive and is quiet- we are going to try different placements for the unit as to find the best area but so far, it works amazingly (I also use their weight scale-super accurate with excellent phone app that ties into my fitbit too). We are now considering a second unit for our basement area - where I have a small home recording studio. You will not go wrong with this product - stand up company too!

I’ve had this unit running for just under a week now. The air purifier is great. It is running in my main area of the home circulating over 2k sq ft. The smart app lets you control it from anywhere and best yet, you can set it up on a schedule to turn on and off automatically. This is a must have feature for me as I would like to keep multiple units in different rooms of the house, it lets it be automated and I don’t have to think about it. The app will even alert you on filter replacement and provides a percentage for ‘life left’. It has a smart mode to run the fan speed based on air quality which seems to work very well.Overall:Unit is excellent for the price point, it’s even priced lower than non-smart purifiers from other brands. For the scheduling feature alone, I will be buying a second one.Pros:Light weightQuiet enough for me on highRemote access/Scheduling via appMulti-stage filtration (means that your more expensive filters will last longer)Cons:Not in love with the aesthetics but that’s just meAlthough I love the app, I had to download a different app than the one I already had for the Renpho smart scale, would be great if they were integrated.

I purchased the RENPHO Smart WiFi Air Purifier after reading the reviews, mostly focusing on the negative ones. One of the most complained problems is squeaking noise after using for a couple months, which I cannot tell since I have only owned the Purifier for a few days. Since it has one year warranty, I am not too worried if it happens to me.However, some of the complains may be due to misunderstanding. For example, it does not come with a remote, but it can be controlled remotely using your phone with its app.For WiFi connection, it only works with 2.4 GHz, which is stated in the User Manual. I found that it helped a lot if you turn on the airplane mode before connecting the Purifier with your phone. As for the noise level, I have measured it with an app (see the recorded video). With the background noise of 30 dB, Speed 1: 35 - 40 dB; Speed 2: 40 dB - 45 dB; Speed 3: 50 dB - 55 dB.When in sleep mode, all lights will be turned off except for the power and sleep lights. So far, the Purifier has been working very well for me. The only drawback worth mentioning is that the AQ mode is a black box to the user. It would be much better if it could display the parameters used to determine the air quality, such as PM2.5, HCHO, etc.I will update my review if any problem develops over time.

I love this air purifier! I received it via UPS today and couldn’t wait to open it. Setup was super easy with the included filters. I have had air purifiers in the past that took up a lot of space and were very loud. This one is compact, somewhat discreet (it’s about the size of an office garbage can) and very quiet. I really like the lights that let you know what your air quality is. I have it in my office now but I’m thinking I might need a second one for home. The app/Alexa interface is really cool but I’m not sure I need it - it’s nice that it tracks the filter life for me. I would recommend this to a friend

This product is great for allergies. It is large enough to clear a good size living room in a short time and changes the way it smells. Has light indicators for the air quality that are large and easy to see from across the room. Has light indicators for when it’s time to change each filter separately so u don’t change them all together. You can lock out the buttons so kids done change it. It’s nice and quiet at night time. Has Easy to use app and can even turn on with Alexa. We are happy with this purchase and can’t wait for the long term effects this will have for our family.

The renpho air purifier is a great compact size that discreetly and easily fits in any room. I have used several air purifiers before in the past and I like how easy this one is to set up with all of the filters inside being numbered and labeled and having tabs for easy removal when the time for replacement comes. The sleep mode works great and its whisper quiet. I have found that when I leave it on and close the door when I come back into the room it smells fresh and I can actually smell the difference in the quality of the air in a room! Especially with allergy season coming up, I'm excited to be able to use this and have the control of it through an app. The color indicators are also a great reference point for seeing how the air quality in the room is and having the visuals on the app are really handy and useful. The app also has a lot of handy information and allows you to set a schedule, set a sleep timer and add child lock if needed and view the life of your filters and when they need to be replaced. Highly recommend this product!

I have been using the Renpho air cleaner for almost a month. What I like about it is that it is extremely powerful while being incredibly compact. Moving it from one room to another is a breeze, unlike many air purifiers on the market. It uses a multi-stage filtration system to remove dust and odors. I have been using mine close to my kitchen area. It has come in handy when cooking bacon or sausage or Indian food on the weekends! It has an air quality sensor that automatically adjusts the power. I also like the fact that you can turn off the indicator lights while still running. The air purifier I had been using in my bedroom does not allow me to do that. The unit is whisper quiet on low speed. I am considering getting additional units for other areas of my house.

I have a Coway Mighty Air and this has similar specs and functionality for about 30% savings. I put this in the living room because the lights are more flashy and looks great at night as shown in the photo. The build quality and performance has been great so far. For the price I think this is the best value you can get. The auto feature is great and it ramps up during cooking.

I have been using this air purifier for almost a week now and I am very pleased. I have several air purifiers in my home and this one is my new favorite. It has improvements over the other ones that I own. First of all, when I took it out of the box, it looks so sleek compared to the bulky ones I have. It was easy to open it up, take the plastic off the four different filters and put back together. I like that each filter has a number on it so it is super easy to keep them straight. The unit also has lights that tell you when a filter needs to be replaced and it matches up to the numbers so you know exactly which filter needs to be replaced. No more guesswork on that. It was also easy to download the corresponding app, set up the wifi and set up the unit. I like that I can control the unit from my phone. The unit has lights that tell you the air quality. When the lights are on it kind of resembles panda ears so it is a cute esthetic. If you use the machine in sleep mode, the lights go off and the unit is quieter. This is one of my favorite things about the unit. With other units I have, I turn them off at night because the lights are bright and they are loud. This unit solves that dilemma. I like that I can control the unit with the app. I can be lazy in bed and not have to get up. The app clearly tells you the remaining filter life. You can set the machine to run for a certain amount of time then shut off. Another great function is you can set the air purifier to run exactly how you want it to then you can lock the keys so a child can't push the buttons and change it. That is great for handsy kids. You can also schedule the unit to turn on/off at certain times. I can share the unit with other family members so they can also control it from their phones. It is compatible with Alexa and Google assistant. I don't have either of those yet but I like that you can connect them if you do. My boyfriend and I have a plethora of different allergies and this unit helps both of us breathe easier. We love it so much that we put it in the bedroom because we normally wake up stuff. Not with this unit. I can't say enough great things about it. I love it.

This air purifier is much better than my smaller one. Not only Does it cleanses a much greater volume of air, but I love the lights that quickly tell me the quality of the air. Green is good air. Yellow is questionable air. And red is unhealthy air. The four filers are catching things my smaller filter is missing. I had no idea we were breathing so much funk as the air seems clean in our home. The first filter is easy enough to clean myself by washing it out. It’s recommended to be cleaned every month, so I haven’t had it need to clean it yet. When I first turned it on auto, this fan speed was high and the lights were yellow, indicating questionable air. After a bit of time the lights change to blue and the fan speed slowed. The blower is strong and blows out a significant amount of air. Think of a small fan. I would highly recommend this product.

I was skeptical when I first saw this but I have many allergies namely dog and cat sensitivities and our 3 dogs sleep in our room so I’ve been looking for something extra to clean the air in our bedroom. Initial set up was easy and instructions were clear. After the first 2 sleeps I could already tell a difference. The air just felt cleaner to breath if that makes sense. You can tel when the dogs are rough housing in the bedroom it kicks up to high to clean the sander and dog stink. I leave it on Auto all day and the Sleep mode at night. You can barely hear it. Just yesterday was the first time I opened the filter area to check the first filter which you can vacuum off and it was not horrible yet. I also haven’t notice as much dust on my dresser and night stands. Overall I’m highly impressed. I would recommend this air cleaner.

Good product thus far. My wife and I were looking to replace our previous air purifier that was on its last leg and came across this after purchasing other RENPHO products in the past. It has some really awesome features that our last one did not including the air quality sensor with light indicators and an auto function which will change the fan speed based on the air quality. The only drawback I have seen thus far is how bright it is for our bedroom but it does have a sleep timer to shut off after 2, 4, and 8 hours. For the price, it is much larger and powerful than the one we replaced that was similarity priced and it has significantly better features than our previous purifier.

I have three cats... 'nuff said. Having an air purifier is a great investment if you have lots of animals, or if you use a fireplace a lot it can also help clear the air. I don't use my fireplace too much (but then I bought my house this summer and winter has only just started, so there's still time!). I'm glad to have this purifier though, I think it will really help with all the cats running around!

I have a Holmes air filter and another Chinese brand. The holmes is a heavy duty simple filter. The other Chinese brand is small, inefficient, and loud. This filter is very quiet. Just a bit louder than a fridge running when on high. As you can see in the video the sensor works quite well when I blow smoke towards it. I like that it lights up blue orange or red depending on the air quality. It is easy to hook up to wifi and use on your cell or alexa voice controls. The filters seen and feel very high quality. the machine also has filter change lights for each filter [total of 4] prefilter, activated carbon, charcoal, and hepa. All are separate and can be changed independently. Very happy with the quality and how quiet this filter is for our living room

Looks GreatSenses Dirt when on auto to increase speed.Tested many times and the slightest smell in the house the color changes on the unit, fan speed increases until the color changes back to clean air.Full access to features via WiFi and simple to connect.Excellent FiltrationVery quiet on low speeds, on high normal wind noise and very manageable. It’s a lot quieter then my other model brands.I have 2 other brand air filters here that I purchased a couple years ago for a lot more money. This one Looks better, cheaper and works better!
