I first picked up one of these brushes from Trader Joe's, where I saw that they were made from recycled plastic. I like how soft the bristles are, that it has a relatively small brush head, and how it has a slight curve to help reach the back of your teeth. Even though it's a simple model with straight bristles, I feel they get my teeth just as clean as any other brush. Assuming I replace a brush about every 3 months, this pack should last me about a year and a half!I do want to note, though, that I didn't receive one of every color as pictured - I received 1 green, 1 white, 2 blue, and 2 red. If you were counting on receiving one fo each, that may not be the case.
These are really soft-bristled, and I thought for sure they were going to wear out quickly. But they hold up better than the Colgate or whatever that we normally buy at Target. Plus they're recycled, and the packaging itself is recyclable in plastic bag bins. Highly recommend. I would just note that these do NOT have a tongue scrubber on the back like you might be used to if you buy big brand toothbrushes.
Oral Hygiene is important. Going to the dentist doesn't have to be an expensive and dreaded ordeal if you brush your teeth and floss 3 times a day. I am working on eating 3 meals a day and brushing my teeth after each meal and flossing. Most days I don't eat 3 meals a day and some days i only brush my teeth once in the morning. I'm starting to have cardiovascular issues as I age, I just got a EKG and since heart health is linked to oral hygiene I'm thinking a strict 3 brushing a day will maybe keep me from further issues. This product was delivered quickly and I'm just glad some things are done right. As for me I'm working on being a better human and brushing my teeth 3 times a day. Maybe then I can feel happy and people will want to be around me since my breath will smell less awful.
I will honeslty never purchased another brand of toothbrushes other than Preserve. Other than the awesome fact that they're made from recycled yogurts cups and made in America they're high quality and the angle fits just right into those hard to reach spots. Bristles are highly packed and do not fall put. They even have children size. Hands down best toothbrush ever.
I have extremely sensitive gums and teeth, and theses are the absolute softest while still functional toothbrushes I've found so far. They're also great if you have a small mouth, as I often have issues with adult toothbrushes being very large and unweildly compared to my mouth. And the fact that they're made with a percentage of recycled material and you can send them for recycling is also a plus.
I've used these toothbrushes for years now. I love how they are recycled and not made with overly harsh chemicals, unlike the typical ones you find in most stores (with the exception of health food stores). Keep an eye on them, I was able to buy a 6 pack for 2.50 plus shipping, typical price is 15-19 per bundle. When you see an amazing deal like 2.50 don't hesitate buy them all (I bought 5 bundles at this price). I buy the ultra soft as I like them non-abrasive for my enamel.
Don't know how long these will hold up and i don't know how well these will actually clean our teeth overall but, I don't really care for these are really actually soft/ultrasoft unlike all the other dozen plus brands we tried that claimed to be!! it's nice to finally be brushing our teeth with it not resulting in our gums getting scratched up from the tough bristles of other brushes that would leave our gums bleeding afterwards..Handle shape was awkward at first but, felt natural by second use. Really do love these but, I am not one to brush after every meal so i do plan on maybe using a tougher bristle brush once a week on back teeth because i kinda have it my brain that these are way too soft to properly scrape away stuck on foods back there ..update: our third order, husband loves them and will only used these ultra soft toothbrushes now..i personally quit using them because although gentle on the gums, they were too soft to clean in between my teeth & gum good enough and i could see plaque starting to build up in some areas..
