use these filters eveyrtime I drip my coffee. better price than Melitta.
The price is right. This is my second order. Very satisfied.
I decided to give these filter a try since they were much less expensive than my normal filters. They feel like they are about half the thickness of the Melitta brand normally used. So far, we have had none of them tear or break apart while making coffee or while throwing the filter away. My husband likes strong coffee so he puts about 3/4 - 1 cup of ground coffee in the filter. We have not noticed any change in flavor from using these filters. I would recommend them to others to purchase.
Good quality melitta style cone filters. Buy with confidence. A couple of previous reviews stated that filter fell apart at seams, but I always fold my filter seams before adding coffee grounds and pouring water, and have never had one of these filters come apart. #6 size filters are difficult to find in local stores, these are a good quality and price.
My husband felt a #6 filter was what he wanted. This is a great price for a 6 since at the store they are more than the #4 filter. Happy with my purchase and I will purchase again.
I bought these specifically for making cold-brewed concentrate; using in a large funnel to filter out the grounds after brewing was complete. These do the job, and resulting concentrate is free of grounds. It was hard to find #6 filters for sale at any of the places I usually buy my coffee supplies. Ordering online with cheap shipping meant I didn't have to drive all over town searching. They came on time and were exactly what I needed.
These work really well with the Melitta coffee cones. I've been using this brand for over a year and never had them break open at the seams while making coffee. Sometimes they are a bit more delicate once you take them out of the cone with the used grounds, but it's not an issue.
I bought the number six size to use in Melitta cones. The number four size doesn't quite reach the top and requires more "pours." These stick up above the top of the cone and are the proper "fit." I like that they are made of recycled materials and unbleached and so forth, yet they filter out the tiny particles and the oils making a much nicer cup of coffee than the reusable "gold" filters.
