So I cook appt I bake a lot (home cooked meals at least 5 -6 Times a week) and I am in constant need of good solid pans that will properly cook my food ... this is the best by far! I have been using USA pans for 3.5 years hardly anything ever sticks to it and if it does I severely over cooked it and a simple water soak for 10 minutes take everything off - they clean like a gem! I can eve make cheese crisps right on them and no stick! Carmelized salmon no problem! The bake everything perfectly!! I have NEVER had a pan warp on me which I have used several other kinds including Rachel ray and Calphlon and they have wrapped something terrible. I have even set something on full foot high flames (by accident and my hubby was not happy!) in this pan and it STILL has not warped or had the nonstick come off - decolored it but honestly I buy these for all the showers I go to and everyone I buy them for loves them! Buy them u Will be hooked! I ha e the round cake pans jelly roll pans half sheet and quarter sheet I have two cookie sheets and a rectangular pan perfect for lasagna and birthday cakes!! Happy baking/cooking!
These are very good quality nice thick material. I have had them before and just ordered new ones (the 2 half size pack). I notice that people have mentioned warping; if you soak these in water it can get in the seam (rim) as it is 2 thins sheets of metal stuck together. If you clean them without allowing water to get inside the sheets they don't usually warp. Also if you don't put foil on them when cooking items with oil the tins will stain after a while however I don't always use it as I like the way the tray gets nice and hot and this helps brown my vegetables. Definitely recommend them.
I ordered both these USA Pans and Nordicware pans at the same time and used them both to make gingerbread cookies. As you can see, the USA Pan (right) made smooth cookies that came off the sheet without a spatula and left no part of the cookie behind. The Nordicware pan cookies were cracked and I needed a spatula which still left part of the cookie behind. Both are new, so I can't speak to the wear, but these pans were nonstick and a breeze to clean.
I bought one of these for Christmas either this year or last. Our other baking sheets are getting old and worn. I bought these because my wife loves them. She said they're her favorite and she has a couple of nice, expensive ones. They are sturdy, have a good weight to them, and they clean up really well.We use them to bake cookies that turn out so incredibly delectable and perfectly browned on the bottom. We also use them to bake bacon in the oven. You might say "What!? That's not natural" and I'm here to tell you it's wonderful. Wrap these up in foil, lay bacon down, set for whatever the temp is (425, or is it 350?) and bake until the bacon is how you like it. The bacon comes out nice and uncurled, just the way God, the god of bacon, or ol' mother nature (pick your favorite) intended. If you don't like bacon and are disgusted by the very idea I use this product to bake what we want to bake with it, more power to you, man. Keep it right up.If you bake or if your partner bakes, buy them these and ask for cookies. You deserve cookies for making such a good purchase. My wife loves them and I love them to (if she divorces me I'm buying my own!)
Excellent quality and made in the USA! I have purchased several sizes of this company's pans and like all of them. I have found, however, that in order to keep them looking new, it is best to use a solid oil, like coconut oil, over the entire inside surface of the pans before use. I always coat not only the inside bottom of the pans but also the sides and the rim of the pans. In addition, I also use parchment paper during all cooks. This may be overkill but it has kept the pans looking good. Just something you may want to consider doing.
I love these baking sheets! Plus, they are made in America, which is important, as I always try to buy American when possible. They are big and study, but they fit into my sheet pain closet just fine. I have found that they cook evenly, and clean up is a breeze. I would definitely order these again and encourage others to do the same.
I already had a quarter sheet pan from this company that I absolutely love, so when I needed half sheet pans this was the obvious brand to go with. I never used them without foil or parchment paper on them. I really don't know why people do. Even though they aren't non-stick they still have ridges that I can imagine can cause doughy things to get stuck in. But with a piece of parchment paper on it, it bakes perfectly!Some other reviews complain about warping, I've had some minor warping straight out of the oven but nothing that lasts once it's cooled.The quarter size version of this has gone in the dishwasher countless times and has survived being lazy and cutting on it. It doesn't seem to decrease the quality much at all.
Did a lot of research on baking trays over the past few days bc I got pissed off one night with the POS I’ve been using and wasting my time on for the past few years. This tray is like the Porsche of baking trays. Made by USA pan in Pittsburgh, using aluminized steel, none of that crap you find in the bed, bath, and beyond flea market. It’s a family company who’ve been slinging high-quality steel out their doors for over 50 years. None of that imported garbage.I bought the heavy duty one, which is commercial grade and used by restaurants and in professional kitchens. It has a serrated finish so it heats up and cools quicker than a standard tray.Doesn’t warp, super easy to clean, and cooks evenly. No more tinfoil on baking trays needed. It’s BPA, PTFE, and PFOA free. Also, this thing is super tough. Someone breaks into my house and they take a blow to the face from this tray, they’re not getting up. Did not test, but pretty confident this thing can can prob be used as a makeshift shield as a last resort.Highly recommend.
This pan was recommended by one of my blog favorites, and it is heavy and never warps and distributes heat so evenly , and cookies bake the same. I am a baker, especially at the holidays, and this is my favorite cookie pan of all time. I have paid more for cookie sheets and less, but these are worth every penny. Each cookie browns the very same, and it lasts and lasts because of the heavy weight and construction. I have asked for an additional one of these for Christmas.
I've had 2 of these pans for 8 months. I LOVE them...best pan I've ever owned and I'm 64, so have owned many. I bake cookies a lot and they come out perfect. The rippled bottom helps everything cook evenly and makes the pan very rigid and strong. It never warps during even high heat cooking. I also do many veggie bakes or bacon at 400 degrees. It has not discolored (darkened) as so many past pans have! It also washes nicely. These pans look brand new after 8 months. That's why I ordered more for a Christmas gift for my daughter in law. She will love them too! I'll never buy any other pan!
Love everything about my USA Pan Bakeware...….beginning with it's name "USA" Pan. It looks strong, durable and easy to use. Just received today and used once....LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.....can't wait to buy more of these products for myself and buy as gifts for my family members. So excited to get more and fill my kitchen with more "USA" items! :-) :-)
These pans are great. Nothing sticks to them, easy to clean with soap and water. I always use parchment or oil, not spray type oils purchased in cans. Those build up and get sticky. I use my own oil in a spray bottle, but mostly must parchment. Great pans made in the USA!!
My wife asked for new baking pans for Christmas and I only know what I learned working in commercial kitchens - so I ordered these and hoped for the best! I was impressed straight away by their weight and even cooking properties - if you've worked in commercial kitchens and want that same performance in your home kitchen, these are a great choice!
I bought this to do sheet-pan suppers and I am very very happy with it. As I have used it I have struggled with some baked on stains but in general it has been a wonderful pan. It heats evenly and food releases well from it - I use it at least 5 days a week.
I use this pan for making oven fries, cooking pizza (yes a stone block might be better but I'm not Martha Stewart!), roasting veg, etc. It's so nice. Nothing has ever stuck to it, and it's easy to clean. Things cook very evenly.I haven't tried out the silicone mat yet, but if it's anything like the pan I know I'm in for a thrill.
The weight and sturdy construction of this heavy pan prevents warping in the oven, so common to other similar but much cheaper pans. The non-stick silicon surface has performed better than any other pan I've ever owned for a variety of foods I've used the pan for thus far, and of course nothing stuck to the pan makes cleaning it extremely easy.My one question for this item is how durable the non-stick surface will remain over time, because I've owned other non-stick cookware that was great at first but then faded with time. That's something I'll have to wait to find out. Based on my experience with this item to date, though, I'm considering ordering a couple of other USA pieces.UPDATE 07/15/2013: After extensively using the three USA pans I purchased almost one year ago, the jelly roll pans continue to perform flawlessly. I've baked a few things that I was sure would stick to these pans, but upon removing the pan from oven the baked goods simply slid down to one end. This in the best bakeware I have ever used by a mile, and I'll add that USA pans are easily worth twice the price that they sell for.
