I ordered this without taking any measurements and it was exactly the same length as the inside of our drawer. With some shoving, we made it fit. It's definitely in there forever now. Someday when we sell our house, this is staying with it.

Have so much junk in this drawer and had 2 separate, unmatching trays in there before that would slide all over the place. This one is much more organized and looks pretty.

First of all, this product is great, no issues with the quality. I thought the organizer was 2.5" deep inside where the silverware goes but the 2.5" is the overall height and because this expands the organizer is raised some. The interior depth of the 5 main slots is just shy of 1.5" and the two larger slots on the left and right after expanding are 1 7/8". I had to turn half the silverware pointing up and the other half pointing downward to fit. It works fine but not what I was planning on doing.

I've seen a similar utensils organizer like this with my previous apartment housemate and I'd love to have for me too (as part of my kitchen organization plan for the new apartment). So glad I was able to find this and what amazed me is this product is way better than with my housemate's one. It has the overall of what I wanted - quality build. This appears to be a nicely constructed product 100% bamboo made. I love that it's also aesthetically pleasing look. The expandability feature helps me more with my monstrous stuff in the kitchen. Each space for the fixed slots is perfect for the number of my flatware pieces. My guess is this would last long based on how it was packaged, how it feels in my hand and the impressive construction. Highly recommended indeed.
