I'm generally a cash/gift card sort of Christmas giver. This year I opted for actual gifts. I had so much fun using this (I later found some that comes in different colors! That is on my list for next Christmas!) paper. I decorated it in so many ways. Sturdy? Oh yes! And the role seems to be endless. I loved that. I wrapped some very heavy packages---most a rather large size---and it folded well and I loved everything about it. If I had any complaint it would be that I'd have liked it a bit wider. Definitely not a deal breaker for me. The bonus to this is I still have plenty left to use for other occasions. Some ideas...I used Washi tape, colored pencils and markers, stencils and stickers to decorate the boxes. I am NOT a creative or artistic person but they still came out nice. I wanted to use bows but to tell you how NON creative I am, I never could figure out how to use the remaining ribbon, or how to adequately attach, the "pull the string and voila you have a bow," bows. They would have made the gifts even cuter. But, certainly not the fault of the product. Highly recommend.
Soooooo many uses. I originally ordered this to help template for a cosplay costume for my daughters Halloween costume. I then used it to keep the copious amount of hot glue off my work bench, made giant paper air planes, wrapped a gift for a buddy of mine (because who has wrapping paper that isn’t holiday oriented) , A real life panoramic coloring book for the kids and finished the day off with using it to edge where I was painting. I can’t say enough good things. Fast shipping. The whole experience was top notch.
I use this to wrap gifts. It is perfect for basic size boxes. I was able to wrap all of my Christmas gifts in this. It works for boxes up to the sweater/coat size boxes. If it is narrow you can wrap larger boxes easily. It’s thick enough, yet it is easy to fold for gift wrapping. It accepts tape well and the tape doesn’t come off. I love it and i haven’t even used half of it after the Christmas holiday gift wrapping and about 20 birthdays, so it lasts a long time.
Ya’ll are going to laugh at the reason I bought this paper. I make chicken and dumplings for my husband twice a year....believe me it’s a huge pot for just 1 man. Anyway, I just got plain ole tired of cleaning up my mess from making his preferred dumplings....rolled flat. Can u tell he is from the North, and I love drop dumplings w/o the mess. It’s a southern thing. Anyway, I taped the paper down on the kitchen island and went at rolling out his very thin dumplings. I was extremely happy at how easy it was to clean up afterwards. The paper was durable and never once did it tear. This paper is also fantastic for the grandkids projects, and my painting projects. I will be buying this again
Used this paper to make a tree on the wall for the church nursery. Great quality paper doesn't rip or fall down. the roll seemed small but it was enough to do my whole job. Looks really nice.
I purchased this to start a new tradition with my young family. I wrapped all our presents to other family members and had my kiddies decorate them with stamps. The paper held up beautifully! I was afraid my little ones would poke thru it in some places but it stood the test! I even put embossing powder and a heat gun on it! The paper is both durable yet easy to fold! I am very satisfied and can’t wait to continue this tradition!
I use this packing paper as a combination of protection and aesthetic wrapping for my hand-made pottery. The quality of the paper is very good, and you get a decent amount for the price. My customers and people to whom I've given pottery as gifts have commented that they appreciate that I use 100% recycled paper, and that it also looks nice (sure beats giving them pottery wrapped in old newspaper!)The paper is thick and not translucent at all, with a thickness and durability comparable to (but a little lighter weight than) paper grocery sacks. It takes tape, inked stamps, and stickers well. I would recommend this paper for both gift-wrap or for insulation of delicate items in transport.
I got it to cover a box that I need to ship and discovered other uses for it since it is a quality heavy duty paper!Using a doubled piece as a blotter on my husband's desk. He is the world's worst at leaving some kind of beverage stain/rings on the desk since he can't grasp the concept of coasters.Dropped a doubled piece lined in between with paper towels.... into the boot mat by my front door to wick water from my barn boots. It works great for craft project...both as spill protection on the table under the project and as great paper for drawing stencils on. I'm sure I'll be finding more ways to make it a multitasker!!
I use this both for crafts and to put under the cat litter box and under the bird cage. I absolutely love it because, unlike most rolls. it stays pretty much flat when I need to use it. Nothing worse than trying to flatten out some of that rolled paper. The thickness is also pretty good too. I will certainly be buying this in the future.
Great value! I use this paper to wrap all my presents (except for Christmas). A huge money savings over store-bought wrapping paper. Then I look for fancy ribbon on sale (many stores sell the ends of rolls at reduced prices), and it really pops against the brown paper. The gift looks very classy. This 18" roll is the perfect size, too!
