We have a few antlers we have tried in the past. However, my Lab hasn't lost interest in these two.....he is so cute as he will work on one till exhaustion from chewing. Great entertainment for him while I'm home working on non-stop conference calls. After he finally stops chewing, he sleeps! That, combined with a good walk in the morning makes for a much more enjoyable work day. Thank you for the great antlers. You seem to expose just enough marrow for him to love to dig in.

A friend recommended antlers as an alternative for our heavy chewer, a 9 month old, 35 lbs pitbull/border collie mix. She goes through chew toys marked for "heavy chewers" in an average of 20 minutes (except for the Kong). Same thing with the hide free chew treats. We ordered the first antler 2 months ago and she is still going at it! I love the fact that it is split and she can get to the bone marrow, but it doesn't take away from the time these antlers last. I ordered another one a month ago because I was worried she would lose interest when the antler gets "old" (the original one we ordered is about half the size it was when we got it) but she loves both the older one and the newer one equally and they keep her busy for hours. It also doesn't splinter - the pieces that come off are tiny little granules that pose no choking danger and are easily cleaned up. Great product!

If anyone’s dogs shows no interest in antlers, definitely try the split antlers with them. The exposed marrow gets and holds their attention. My dog is a strong chewer and these antlers seems to be holding up to her heavy chewing. I was impressed by the size and quality of these antlers when they arrived. There is a lot of marrow in the antlers and I notice NO smell from the antlers while my dog is chewing. I definitely purchased these because they are made in America, are not processed and are naturally shed (so no animals where hurt to get these). Antlers always seem to be pricey but these ones are worth the cost. I will definitely buy from them again.

This is the third antler my dog has had. The first was a small whole antler that she enjoyed but chewed/ate it down until it was small enough for her to choke on and I threw it out. The second was a large split bone that she cleaned the marrow out of the center over a period of time and then chewed down the remainder -- she still has it and it is about half as long as it was when originally purchased. The Buck Bone split antler is her 3rd and it is far and away the best. She has had it almost 3 months and is still working on the morrow center. It is still as enjoyable and interesting to her as when I first gave it to her. If your dog likes and does well with antlers this is a good product and much better than what I see in the pet stores with a much larger price tag. FYI: my dog is about 48 pounds and would be considered a medium sized and built dog. She is half German Shepherd and mixed with chow, pit bull and boxer. If you know these breeds you know she is well muscled with considerable jaw strength and tenacity. This antler suits her size and temperament very well.

I have a one year old English Pointer. He whips through toys so fast it's crazy. He figures out how to take them apart or chews them up quick. I got a similar one that's not cut in half from the pet store near me first and he wasn't much interested. But this he ABSOLUTELY LOVES. He gets to chew and it's cleaning his teeth and doesn't smell or anything and doesn't break apart!! You guys are geniuses!!!

At first, I was hesitant to buy another antler chew because my dogs in the past have not been very fond of them. Granted, I had never tried a split antler or this brand so I decided to give it a shot with my new dog. He is not a problem chewer but he likes to have something to gnaw on and he is in the office with me all day so I wanted something that he would enjoy, that would keep him busy, and that wouldn't be eaten up in a day.The first time I gave him the antler, it was clear he had never been given one before. He was very curious and just sniffed it a lot at first, but after a few minutes he was in love! He really likes the exposed marrow and definitely targets it when he chews. As a result, the marrow has broken up a bit and will not last as long as the antler itself but he also enjoys just chewing on the antler so I'm not that worried about him eating all the marrow out of it. He chews on it in short bursts throughout the day and he's had the antler for a few days, and there's still plenty of marrow. The outer antler looks untouched. I anticipate this antler lasting him at least two weeks if not longer. It's possible, if your dog is a powermouth, that they will clean out the marrow very quickly but the bone of the antler will last them.I highly recommend trying the split antler before the whole antler if you're unsure how your dog will like chewing on an antler or if you've tried whole antlers in the past with no luck. I plan on ordering either the Large whole or the XL split when my dog is done with this Large Split but I'm happy that I tried the split antler first. The marrow entices them to chew more than just the flavor of the outer antler. No odor, no slime, no splintering. It's a great length for my dog (Lab/GSP). If your dog is a heavy chewer, you should get at least a week out of this chew. The length is a little deceiving. When I unboxed the antler, I was sure it wasn't the described length (6-7"). It definitely looks about 4-5" but I measured it out of curiosity and it is indeed 6.5".Very pleased! Do plan to purchase from this seller again.

This is my 2nd purchase of this item and I'm beyond happyNot only is my dog in love but she is a pit mix which means she has a strong jaw. Not to mention she's still in puppy phaseAfter much research I opted for the split ones as it appears it lessens the chances for cracked teeth. We also keep an eye on her and limit chew timeThe size is perfect. It doesn't have a stink. Doesn't leave a mess. And keeps her from chewing shoes or other things around the house. While the price seems steep it does seem to last us a couple months.I highly recommend. But you MUST supervise

Our Keeshond is a canine chain-saw when it comes to chews. The chews rated for "aggressive" chewing do not last him at most, 45 minutes, lesser ones for 15-25 minutes. Bones are good, but messy, and an off-and-on-process for him. Between him being too smart for his own good, and his love of chewing, we have spent a small fortune on dog chews; bones, raw hides, pressed raw hides, twisted raw hides, and doggie games with treats on the inside (he grabs them in his mouth, flings them to the floor, and when the treats fly out,he eats them....) . He typically will go through three or four of the other chews within one hour in the evening. With bones, which he enjoys, he will leave bone shards, which are a concern for his and our safety (step on one with bare feet,,,). Some of the bones will be around for a day or two, but filled ones he will leave a hollow shell. The split antler with marrow has lasted a long time with him, and he enjoys it. There are no bone shards, and he enjoys it throughout the day. While he does like other chews, the long lasting and his regular returning to it is making this purchase a good investment. The split antler is perfect for him, as it can fit in his mouth, and he can hold it in his paws to gnaw on. This one has lasted him for a couple of weeks, and it is his favorite. We also ordered one for my sister-in-law's pit bull, and her pit loves it!
