Not the prettiest thing, but the most functional product! I love all things that coordinate and look cute hanging from my leash. It's like a having a sweet accessory to finish off an outfit. I don't see why this great productdesign doesn't come in a variety of colors. I would buy more, just to switch it out to match my leash, lol! Anyhow....it's a great product. Happy that I am able to hang the bag from the clip, after cleaning up after my girl. I certainly don't care to walk a mile with a poop bag in my hand. The built in clip is great for those perforated edges and a cinch to grab the bag from the hole provided. Although it doesn't make the cut with color choice, (being their brand color) the convenient design won me over. The hard case has taken a beating from the drop the leash and go run moments! Time to DIY & simply spray paint it to match. Hahahaha ????

I had one of these bag holders, not the same brand, that the bottom fell off and cracked. I taped it and it was fine for awhile until my husband took the dog out and came home without the bottom part and the bags inside. So I love the fact that this attaches to the leash and is easy to pull the bags out. Knew I had to find a replacement, I really didn’t need extra bags since I have so many from the first dispenser. This Earth rated was the only one that was just offering the dispenser without hundreds of extra bags, it came with 15 in the dispenser, I’m so glad I chose this brand. It SCREWS together, very solid product I think my husband will be able to come home with the whole thing intact. I also really like the bags more substantial than the ones I have and the lavender scent is nice.

Tired of loosing bags and carring the full ones? So was I. Then we bought this little gem. Perfect? No, but affordable and holds the empties and the full bags leaving me hands free. Just ordered another for the other dogs leash. Win win.(Not having the issues some others noted getting empties out of the container).

I go through a lot of these bags between running and walking my dogs. I was running low with all the extra walks my dogs were getting during quarantine, so buying these again were a no-brainer. Over previous use, I've never had the bags split or break, I've never put a long fingernail through them, and the "scent" is just enough for my nose on the initial clean-up but not overwhelming. They tear easily and always along the perforation (had some cheap ones that never did before). These nice, tight rolls just keep refilling the container, week after week.

I absolutely love these poop bags. As a dog walker and owner of 3 large dogs, sturdy poop bags are a necessity. I've tried a few other brands but Earth Rated is by far my favorite. These bags are solid and I have not had a slip. The only thing is, my husband takes like an hour to get a bag open. I have no trouble. We have tried the unscented ones and the scented ones. The scented ones are strong enough not to smell poop. Love it.

My wife was like, why did you buy 900 poop bags for our dog? I was like, do the math! He goes once in the morning, once at lunch time, and twice at night. That's 4 times a day for 365 days, that doesn't even get us close to a full year. For the record, I had to do the math on a calculator...I actually just did and 4x365=1465. So this purchase will get us to about August 12th. So yea! I bought 900 bags, and you know something? I don't have to worry about buying another batch of these until this summer! so am I thrilled about that? You betcha! This kit also comes with spare containers that clip on the leash, this is perfect as we have two sets of leashes. One for around the yard(short) and one for hikes and long walks(retractable) So now we don't have to fumble around when we switch leashes like some kind of psycho. The scent of the bags is nice, but once you put dookie in it, well it's kinda like walking into a Yankee Candle Store. You're like is this a bad smell? is it good smell? Kinda...it kinda is...but no...ultimately no it is not. Does it mask the pooh smell, to a degree. You gotta tie that sucker off ASAP, son! The bags themselves are sturdy, I have yet to smash my fingers into a pile of turd... yet! There's always a first time for everything. The one cool aspect as there's a little sticker tab that allows you to place the dung bag into the container, close it, and then extract the bag so that you now have a rolodex of nameless crap bags. The one thing that I question is, why not make a box full of 1500 bags? and maybe they do, I will check after this. But 1500 would cover the whole year and then some. I don't anticipate this dog ever not having a BM. I suppose not every dog is built the same. Some dogs maybe only take 2 giant stools a day. Some smaller dogs maybe 15-20? who's the say? No dog is equal and we shouldn't treat them that way, nor should we treat their bowels the same either. Would I buy this product again? Uh yea! I have to in about 8 months...

I have used a few different brand poop bags and these are by far the greatest bags I have ever used to pick up after my furry friend. Nothing worse than walking your best friend with poop in hand and then to have you bag break apart at the seam. Not these bags they are strong an reliable. One of the best features to the bags are the enjoyable scent of lavender. A fresh smell with every bag . Since purchasing this amazing product I have noticed almost no foul odors from all those number 2s I have picked up . I would recommend this product to anyone who is not happy with what they currently use on the go. Also they are slightly larger than most bags on the market, and for those like me with larger hands these truly are the doggy bags for me.

So far, this dispenser seems pretty sturdy, as I have dropped it several times already when I was just carrying it around. Now, its strapped to the plastic handle of my dog's leash and the velcro is going strong. Personally, I dislike velcro because of the sound and texture, but I'm not about to dock stars over personal preference. It holds on and keeps the dispenser handy. That said, I did replace mine with an old keyring and clip I had laying around the house.I bought the unscented bags because I the smell of lavender makes me sick, and these are totally odorless ( thank goodness! ). They are also sturdy and haven't torn while being removed from the dispenser. The little hook on the back is a neat feature, but one that I've not needed to take advantage of yet. The leash itself does seem to snag on it quite often, but that's minor annoyance and not something I'm too worried about. I just fix it and keep on walking.Overall, I really like this dispenser and the unscented bags and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good one to take with them on walks.

I have two medium to large dogs and if you have dogs then you know what that means. Fortunately my girls are good and they take care of business in our backyard. Downside is that my kid plays in my backyard, so we “bring in the harvest” almost daily. These do the trick and you get to keep your hands clean, unless you don’t want to and please keep that to yourself. My only gripe would be that they can’t completely stop the smell. Fortunately I don’t sit around drinking beer and admiring the girl’s work, so that isn’t much of an immediate problem. But I feel for my trash man, my garbage can smells like a used diaper in the summer.

I don't write a lot of reviews. But I feel compelled to share my thoughts on this product. It is awesome. You might think, "how complicated could this be?" But I went through a couple of other products like this before finding the right one. Either they did not attach well to the leash or, in both cases, they had a habit of falling apart. i.e.--the two parts of the dispenser would separate while walking, and you'd get home to find the bags and part of the dispenser missing. Not with this guy. The threads that hold the pieces together are coarse enough to assure it's not coming apart. The velcro strap to attach to the leash is nice and secure. And how about that little clip on the side for holding the filled bag? So simple. But others don't have it. After my buddy does her thing, and I clean it up, I really don't want to walk around with it in my hand until we get home. So now, I have this easy to use clip that holds the bag. Can you tell I like this product? It's so simple. But it does the job well. Highly recommended.

**This review is for the older bullet shaped dispenser, not the new one**Our dog isn’t a public pooper lol. He doesn’t poop when we take him for walks in our neighborhood. He always just waits till we get back home and does his business in the backyard. Needless to say just to be on the safe side we always took a plastic bag with us in case he ever had to do do his doggy business. I was tired of carrying plastic bags in my fannypack and was looking for something compact and sturdy and found this. It smells nice and is compact enough to fit in my fanny pack. I doubt I’ll ever have to use all the bags in the dispenser but it’s nice to always have something nearby in case.

The dispenser- it works well! I have both earth rated dispensers now. This one is laced through a leash handle while the other more teardrop version is laced on my dogs actual harness. I love the thin Velcro strap because we are able to thread it through a rather tight spot on my leash allowing me to unclasp the leash to change it from my waist to a handheld without the holder falling off. Copied below from my review of the bag refills: These are the ones! Long and thick enough to be confident you would need to clean up even more pooo off yourself later. Pup had stomach issues and I was able to go over the same spot with confidence that my nails wouldn’t need a bleach bath later. The indented bags don’t leave a smell on your hands either which is nice!

All pet owners should have one of these poop bag dispensers. This particular unit holds large rolls of any brand and has a small hook that makes transporting “used bags” so simple! The manufacturer provides two rolls of “biodegradeable” poop bags with this dispenser and the dispenser easily attaches to any lead with the provided strip of hook/loop fabric - the fabric on this hook/loop strip tends to fray over time and I ended up using a conventional key ring to attach it to my dog’s lead handle. Overall, this is an excellent poop bag dispenser made with durable/rugged material that can be tossed/thrown/stepped on/etc and it will be just fine. Replacing empty rolls is as easy as unscrewing the bottom half and inserting the new roll. I have no complaints about this item. Simple, rugged, secure, convenient!Once you’ve used the hook, you’ll understand how valuable and useful it really is. So if you’re in the market, give this make/model a try and I’m confident you’ll be pleased with your purchase.I most definitely recommend this particular pet poop bag dispenser. My 8 year old greyhound has one of these dispensers on each of his everyday leads.

So first 5 stars... no need to read further just buy this for your puppy poop picking up, then buy another box for a friend. Okay now for the reason I gave five stars for this product. I received the order in record time like two days for delivery, Frickin Awsome! Then I was at the dog park with my two dogs Maui and Thurston both considered large dogs with large puppy piles and I opened the box of 900 poop bags and found all these little rolls of bags. This is genius because I can carry fifteen bags in a tidy little roll. I have been shoving a wad of plastic bags in my pocket every time I go for a walk or to the dog park for the last two years now its just a neat little easy to use and carry roll. Amazing. Then the dispenser. Yes it comes with Two plastic dispensers to put your little roll into so its even more awsome. Then the dispenser has this velcro strap to secure it to a belt loop or purse handle or wherever I like. I was totally prepared to pluck puppy piles. The first pile is always in the first two minutes of the park time. Maui runs in and finds a spot near a fence or on a tree and makes a steaming pile for me to pick up. I dutifully dispensed the bag and inserted my hand and noticed that it felt thick and sturdy. Then I grabbed the pile and as we dog owners do turn the bag inside out to contain the mess until I pass a poop can to drop it into. Then I noticed the smell. No not dog smell but ... get this ... Lavender.... I didn't notice it before. it was actually rather strong so I think it would have perfumed up the whole car with a box of 900 but no just the one bag with the poop in it offered up the pleasing aroma. I actually took the dispenser off my belt loop to smell and smelled the bag with poop in it to see. I am no scientist but this may be a poop activated perfume. I looked real stupid sniffing a green bag of steaming Sh!t but honestly, it smelled of Lavender. So order the doggie bags and fill them up and share them with the others at the park that forgot to bring some. You have 900 why not

This works as expected. It has a very nice Velcro strap that securely attaches to your leash. (I have it attached to my end of the leash.) The little rolls of bags fit right in the capsule; allowing the next bag on the roll to protrude slightly from the side of the capsule. Easy access to bags when out walking my dog. Very happy with this. It's light weight but I just have to be careful to not hit my dog with it when I'm putting on their harness and the leash is attached. Btw, the bags work great too!

The little clip that you can attach your bag to is the reason why I buy this dispenser. It's amazing how one little clip can change your whole dog walking experience.???? makes it that much easier. The scented bags are delightful as well. This is the only dispenser I buy.My only issue is that if you buy replacement bags that aren't this brand they don't always fit. So if you get them at Marshall's or wherever it's a gamble if they fit, but I just have to take off a few bags to get them in. For me its not a deal breaker because I just love that poop bag clip!

The only dog poop bag we use and buy for others! As much as we pick up and use dog bags during our walks and hikes, I had to have something biodegradable so not to feel guilty. We get the lavender scented bags which has a light scent. These are good thick bags that don’t rip, burst, smell or tear. One of our dogs is a Great Dane / Wolfhound mix (150lb) and these are large enough to pick up after him with just one bag. The bag holder is perfect as it has a bag clip / holder built in. We regularly buy these (only this brand) and give these bags & holders to our friends as new dog gifts or if we see they need a better brand :) / dispenser.

I've had a couple of these before but don't think I was aware the clip was to hold a bag once you gathered up the poop - good to know!As I recall I did have two problems when I first used them. I suppose they are big issues but I found work arounds so I'm okay with them:1. The two parts would come unscrewed, leaving me with a top but no bags. I'm just going to secure the pieces with a bit of electrical tape and that should keep everything together.2. The Velcro that holds the carrier to the leash (or whatever) came loose. I'm securing these with safety pins.Happy to have them - I took a leash the other day that didn't have poop bags, but thankfully had some spare plastic bags in the car. Needless to say I attached one to this Leah. The second is a spare. - it was a bargain for the two of them. Thank you, seller!

I've been trying to give up using plastic bags since they are so bad for the environment, so I've been looking for some eco-earth bags that would leave me feeling a little less guilty. I found these bags that break down (unlike plastics) and I use them as produce bags.I was really surprised with how sturdy, thick, and strong the bags are. I was worried that they would be really thin and rip easily. I have tugged on them and stretched them, and yet they hold up great. I also LOVE the scent of these bags. They smell so pleasant and nice. It really masks the scent of whatever garbage or waste you put inside. I hate when scented bags are so strong and intense, and actually make things smell worse. This is not the case for these bags -- best smelling bags out there!!The container/dispenser is also really nice and compact. It's easy to open and close, but doesn't come loose. The adjustable straps are nice for securing the container. I hook this onto my grocery bags when I go to the store. People look at me weird for using these bags for my produce, but I don't care lol. The container makes it so convenient to take with me and is always within hands reach. These bags are great!

Love these bags! I usually hate scented products, but these are subtle enough to not be offensive but still have a pleasant non-poop smell that you really appreciate when picking up poop.I'm not nuts about these bag dispensers (I have a great leash pocket I bought at Target!), but I also haven't found something I like better that works well with thicker, rope-type leashes. I wrap the strap around the handle a few times before securing the velcro. This keeps it from swinging around, which is both obnoxious AND fuzzes up your leash handle. They fit great in the leash pocket, so you're not locked into their dispenser.

This is our go-to dispenser -- sturdy and easy to use, and a few added features that make it better than the cheap super-store versions that fall apart.PROS* Cost -- inexpensive especially with Prime.* The screw on cap -- you won't understand why this is important if youve never had the cheap pop-off lid type...that sends a roll of 300 poo bags dancing down the drain, or drops your last few bags silently to be left standing with no bags getting the stink eye when you can't clean up after your dog. The durable, practical cap is GREAT.* The hook -- ok, it's a little creepy to be walking with a bag of poo dangling from the dispenser...but it sure beats carrying it myself. Works well; great grip and no slips.* Works with other bags from other vendors, no issues.CONS* Apparently this had a carabiner clip at one point, but now it's velcro. The velcro is starting to get a bit worn, so I will probably try to attach my own carabiner to keep using it...just wish it was included. We've used this regularly for months with no issues, and am happy with the value and construction.

Over the years I've tried about a dozen different bag holders. I've got some cheapo-freebies that come with the bags, I've bought some fancy nylon/velcro ones, plastic ones, rubber ones.. none seem to work well, or last. The caps pop off, the bag roll falls out, or they jamb up and don't dispense a bag well. They all seem to suck.I got fed up with the ones we have, and figured I'd take another look and see if someone came up with a better bag holder. This one was very highly rated, and not very expensive.I see why it's rated so high, it-just-works. It's a 2 piece screw together design, so no end caps to fall off, or get pulled off when pulling a bag through. The side opening is generous enough to allow the bags to come out, but not so big they fall out. There's a good sized spindle inside to help hold the rolls and keep them turning while dispensing. I've tried a few different rolls of bags in it from different brands, and they've all worked just fine.It only comes with a small bag roll, which is fine, I wanted it for the dispenser, not the bags. However, the included bags were also quite good.

For years I had been using the ubiquitous Bags On Board poop bags feeling good about myself for using "biodegradable" bags. Turns out that theirs are only biodegradable in the sense that eventually the earth will melt down and nothing will exist anymore but, you know, semantics. After doing some more research, I came across the Canadian Earth Rated brand. Perfection. They even have a cardboard core. If you care at all about your ecological footprint/your dogs pawprint, then I highly recommend these. I immediately ordered them up along with their fantastic holder, which, ingeniously has a hook built onto it allow you to clip used bags onto it for the rest of the walk. Little feature, but very very smart. I don't miss those blue bags one bit.Yes this is certainly a first world concern but if you have a dog, and if he/she poops AND if you clean said poop up with bags, you should make them these. And while you're ordering them, you might as well get them in bulk unless you have some sort of fancy dog who eventually phases out defecating altogether.Canada - you are officially forgiven for Bryan Adams!
