Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Very easy to use, multiple ways of charging, durable (I'm pretty clumsy) take it with on road and camping trips as it does have the Weather station, has both FM and AM station, two different lights, sos "siren" that's pretty loud.
For it's size, about the size of your hand, it has one of the larger USB battery backups (2000mAh) available.Solar panel has a charging light, so you can position it for best charge.Crank handle is not fragile, so unlikely to break in use.Good radio reception.Siren, and red light - not all weather radios have that. This radio is marketed by more than one seller, in various colors, so you may get different offer prices.
You get what you pay for when it comes to quality. But it’s great value when it comes to options and features. Lots going on with this item. Ability to use batteries was the deciding factor. Great overall. Got it for emergencies.
When Hurricane Florence came into SE North Carolina we lost all power and for a couple days couldn't even fire up the generators. During that period that little hand cranked radio was our lifeline to NOAA weather, local radio reports, keeping our phones charged in hopes of returning cell service and light during the scary screaming winds at night. I must have turned that crank a million times, but it never failed us, and when it was all over it went right into the emergency supplies to be ready for the next one.
