Bought this to have an emergency radio/flashlight/phone charger in case of blackouts. Flashlight is nice and bright, and it brings in radio stations very clearly. I like that, in a pinch, it can be recharged by using the hand-crank, or just leaving it in sunlight for a couple of days.

This is a 2020 year model so far so good. Hopefully the two 1860 MPH rechargeable batteries included don’t blow up. I didn’t upon it up to see exact brand 1860 lithium ion batteries are in this unit. Be safe out there and take care of yourselves.

Have had it for only a short time, but everything seems to work fine, I'm happy with my purchase. I really like the lighted LCD display as it's nice and big and easily readable. The sound from the speaker is good, not tinny and cheap sounding. Seems decently well made. I like the wide, stable base and the large solar panel. The only slight negative is that the crank handle doesn't feel that sturdy and the resistance to cranking is on the low side, suggesting it's not generating much electricity. But the crank seems to work ok. Another small suggestion for improvement would be to make the buttons have white colored lettering on or below them instead of just all black. With the buttons all black, it's a little difficult to see without light. But it's not a big deal as you very quickly get use to the location and shape of the buttons so you know which button is which just by feel.

I really liked this product. It gave me a lot of security during Hurricane Laura. I was ready when we lost power and was confident in my ability to keep my phone charged during the entire outage. I had other flashlights but was confident in this ones ability has I needed it.
