After reading so many different reviews I was nervous about ordering seeds online, but I went ahead and ordered these because the price was reasonable and I figured it wouldn't be a terrible loss if things didn't work out. They came in a heavy duty resealable bag and when I opened it, I was happy and relieved to smell FRESH seeds. Yay!!! I purposely ordered the seeds without oil because I was worried about receiving nuts that were rancid, but I don't really like plain sunflower seeds though so I had to get to work roasting them. I froze half of them and put the rest into two large baggies, one to roast now and one to roast next week.I put a tablespoon of coconut oil in a large frying pan, added just enough seeds to cover the bottom of the pan and stirred them for about 5 minutes on medium high heat. You'll hear them start to pop when they're almost ready. (After you hear that first pop, stir, stir, stir. You have about 2 minutes until they're done.) Then I sprinkled them with garlic powder, dill seasoning, and salt to taste. Now we're talking!!! I'll snack on these all week and next week I'll make another batch using cajun seasoning. You can find recipes online or just use your imagination.

These are the best sunflower seeds I have ever eaten. Usually, there is something a little "off" about the raw seeds experience for me - they are a bit stale, or chewy or something. But these are dead-fresh. Unbelievable quality. The plants were properly watered; these are tender seeds. I was afraid of getting such a large bag (in case they were disappointing) but I figured I could dump the raw, unsalted nuts into the blue jay feeder. But those little stinkers aren't getting any of these. My husband has even used them sprinkled on top of his breakfast cereal, and he never does anything like chop nuts to put over ice cream, etc.I can only hope the second bag is as good. [I have not been paid any consideration to review this product. I am not related to anyone connected with the company that makes this fine product. The seeds are just great. This is my honest opinion.]

I rarely go nuts over something as simple as sunflower seeds, but these are so fresh and tasty that I can't keep my hands out of the sunflower seed jar! The seeds might be a bit on the small side, but they are so delicious and sweet that it really doesn't matter. If you're looking for raw sunflower seeds, check these out! You will be happy with them. If I could go to 6 stars, I would!

I need raw sunflower seeds for my homemade granola recipe. I make it in bulk. I can’t get raw sunflower seeds in the stores in sufficient bulk for a decent price. Sincerely Nuts has responded quickly and satisfactorily to any problems and made good. You can’t ask for more. One of my orders was damaged in transit. I let them know and received a replacement next day. They are great!

Looking for something for our squirrels that are a little better for them than peanuts, but also don't want to break the bank either. These are perfect, clean and yummy for critters and humans alike. We've tried sunflower seeds in the shell, and although the squirrels love those, the shells leave too much of a mess.I leave these in a covered bowl by the door. When the squirrels show up, we put out a small handful.Because these are also human grade, I've noticed my husband stealing a handful to top his yogurt and cereal too. They are unsalted and come in a resealable zip top bag to keep them fresh. In warmer months I may think about storing in the refrig or freezer to prevent it from going rancid, but so far, this large bag does not last long enough to really have to worry about that.

Came earlier than expected. Nuts have a great flavor. Biggest problem is keeping me out of them!! They are fresh. I put some in a zip lock bag, and put the rest in the original package in the refrigerator. Depending on how fast I eat them, will decide if I put them in the freezer. Will purchase again

I love buying these for myself and my dogs..:) I buy the large 5 lbs bag so to reduce plastic wastage and that also gives me more value for my money. I am beyond happy to say that despite the fact that it takes time to finish huge 5 lbs bag, the seeds have maintained their freshness and we are still eating them after a whole year worth plus some!I will be back to buy again from this company and will again buy bulk for both the environment and money saving reasons. Totally recommend! Go for it! I and the dogs, we all are vegans and these seeds are a great source of protein, omegas, etc! Love them! Thank you for such a great product.

I have ordered these Sunflower seeds twice from this seller and both times the shipment came a day earlier than expected. Both times the seeds were well packed. these seeds are very fresh and tasty. I eat them as a snack raw or roast them with a little bit of salt. they are also great to add to salads or for your backing needs. I definitely recommend and will order again.

I really don't have much to say except the sunflower seeds met all hope and expectations. Good price for a good product. I recommend these. I have discovered they are great on spinach and or lettuce salads with grated or parmesan cheese and Olive Garden dressing! Also, seriously, on peanut butter (honey if you like) sandwiches. They give the sandwich a fun new twist. They always go on my cold cereal with other good things.

I love this manufacturer and have ordered a lot of their products. They are superior in quality, flavor and I trust this vendor. I like to make my own nut and seed Butters and their products are fantastic

These sunflower seeds are a great buy. While five pounds may seem like overkill, it may be for some but I use a lot in home made granola and just to eat. They are raw and this in my opinion is the only way to buy them.I did vacuum seal the majority of them and put them all in the freezer where all of my nuts and seeds go to preserve freshness.
